We could not have asked for a better hotel. Great room, brilliant location and the staff were fantastic. One of the reception personal went above and beyond being helpful. My husband is not too well at the moment and she pulled out all the stops to make our stay even better she could not have done more to make our...

Stayed one night here to go to a concert at the Spa. On the plus side the Hotel is ideally situated for the Spa, only 10 mins walk maximum. It has very friendly staff, a nice bar and separate guest lounge, comfortable beds and a provides an excellent breakfast which was served to our allocated table. The room was very...

This was our first stay in Scarborough and we hit the jackpot when we selected the Red Lea for our accommodation. Quick, friendly and efficient check in, we were provided a parking permit that covered the duration of our stay. The staff were all very polite and very helpful, for example later on the same day booking a taxi and...

There is a nice bar area which was quite busy in the evening when the entertainment was on. Drinks were reasonably priced and a good selection. The hotel...

This was our first visit to the Red Lea and I am happy to say it will not be our last. The check in at reception was quick and efficient, done by very pleasant and informative staff, in fact we found all the reception staff to be lovely and the night porter was friendly too. Our room was exceptional. The...

Hotel was ok. Room was cosy but had to stuff toilet roll in to window as it let a lot of cold air in. And my mum couldn't have a shower as there was no grab rail in the shower but apart from that room was nice. Only other negative thing I have to say is about the serving staff....

I'll be honest, the very low price for a weekend booking worried me, but as most of the reviews on here are positive, I thought I'd give it a go. I'm so glad we went, nice bug room, decent bathroom with jacuzzi bath. Very very clean and well laid out. Comfortable bed with decent linen. It's an old building, so...
