We had an overnight stop, for my wife's birthday, with our greyhound. Overall, it was very pleasant but, somehow, just not quite up to the four stars claimed. We had a 'privilage' room which was nice with the two aspect views across the grounds and our own little terrace (although it was not really warm enough to use it. Our...

Stayed two nights 14-17 April. The hotel looks nice from the outside and has a lovely outside terrace. The inside is quite nice but does need attention to the decor. I stayed in the mews just a short walk from the main hotel. The room was quite large, lovely and warm and had a comfortable bed but the room was...

We stayed over the Easter weekend for one night (Sat-Sun). When we checked in we were told a wedding was on but there was no reference to this made upon booking. My wife had booked a privilege room on the 1st floor but this was directly overlooking the function room where the wedding reception was held. This was OK until...

The hotel is set in beautiful countryside outside of Newbury itself. There is plenty of parking at no extra charge and the public rooms are all beautifully appointed with lots of seating and wonderful views. Our room was up a spiral staircase and there didn't appear to be a lift. It was well furnished and had a full bathroom but...

We Enjoyed a rather lovely Afternoon Tea at Elcot Park Hotel on Easter Sunday. A lovely peaceful experience with very friendly helpful staff and the most beautiful location. Whilst Enjoying a wonderful selection of Cakes and Tea we could hear Pheasants, Woodpeckers and a range of other wonderful wild life. Such a relaxing atmosphere.

We stayed at the hotel and attended a wedding reception in the facility. The experience was extremely pleasant (as was the weather on that weekend in April!). The hotel room decor was well done in very appropriate English countryside style. Upon our arrival, we had drinks on the patio and dinner in the dining area. The waiter was outstanding, providing...

After having a weekend away with family, we stopped here to break the journey up. Lovely atmosphere with stunning views! Lovely clean rooms, great breakfast, lovely staff, what more could you want? Comfy beds for a good nights sleep. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Stayed for a night enroute to a family celebration. Great location with stunning views. Rooms are ok but could do with some investment. Excellent service throughout our stay from Elena who provided us with extra towels and pillows, more tea and milks. Prepaid breakfast but sadly the hot breakfast buffet was cold. Heating trays where not hot enough with one...
