We stayed at this hotel on a friday night and were told it could get noisy as there is a nightclub on site Friday and Saturday nights. However we were not disturbed by any noise. The location is great at the top end of shops and bars. The sea front was a ten minue walk away. The staff were very...

Excellent service from start to finish. The Duke of Wellington was a very welcome break. Clean and comfortable room, pleasant and well mannered staff. really well priced and presented food. Wonderful location in Minehead, Somerset. It was my fourth visit and I have already booked for September. The receptionist Carol went out of her way to answer my questions and...

My husband and myself were over whelmed with the welcome and help we recieved from both night and day managers Steve and Mark along with their partners and staff. They could not do enough to help, and bent over backwards to make our stay more enjoyable for the 2 nights we were there.

Like every single weatherspoons out there it's all the same. Nothing special just blah... Toilets are a state. But like every other weatherspoons pub we've been to. OK night life with good priced alcohol.

After a solid 6 hours on the beach I was both knackered and starving. We stumbled accross the Duke of Wellington and I decided to have the chicken and ribs combo. And I'm so glad I did, it was gorgeous and I left a very happy customer indeed.

Great location, reasonable prices, we had the biggest bathroom I've ever seen!! Room was a little small but adequate. Only criticism is that the kettle took several minutes to boil even when only half full...oh and personally I find Nescafe coffee rather bitter - would have preferred Gold Blend!! Definitely recommend Duke of Wellington Hotel and this is our second...

Dear lorrainemaxinehall, Thank you for your review, So glad you liked the bathroom size, I am a tea drinker myself so not up on Nescafe or Gold Blend, but have been told the Lavazza coffee in the bar is to die for. We look forward to your next visit Regards Stephen

Nice hotel, Nice clean room. Very, Very noisy. Doors slamming all night long that shakes the whole room! Drinkers and smokers outside until early hours made it impossible to sleep! Would be idea to not have workers staff room/ store cupboard next to family rooms as they are being used until early hours and very loud!

Very convenient location for just about anything in Minehead. The room we had needs some TLC and not the best layout for ladies to get ready (Mirror, hairdryer, electric sockets are far apart, we had to buy an extension lead). The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly though which is nice to find. The bed and bedding, well I...
