Brilliant real ales and a friendly atmosphere topped off with great food in the bar or restaurant recommend to all children and dogs welcome live music on Friday nights shame we weren't able to stay longer.

The bathroom is old, small, with an electric shower without pressure, a small mirror fixed too high for normal people. The breakfast is only available from 8.00 to 9.00am without flexibility, the quality is average. It's too expensive for the services provided.

Whilst visiting Minehead with my wife and my two small children we happened across this delightful pup. We were great immediately by a friendly member of staff with the manners if a saint. He quickly found us a table and high chair for my youngest. We ordered drinks and flash they were with us. We ordered food and wow what...

We booked Rm 9 as another reviewer recommended it had great view over harbour. However, nobody told us that every Friday night there was live music in the bar directly beneath the room. Fortunately we didn't mind (although the live music wasn't that great) but don't even think of going to bed before 11.30 pm otherwise. The room was spacious...

Friendly staff with a warm welcome. Great selection of proper beer including the harder to find great British best bitter. Relaxed and quiet atmosphere. Wish we'd had the time to stay here for longer, maybe next time.

We stayed at the Old Ship Aground for three nights. The property is well placed at the end of the harbour close to the lifeboat station, with plenty of places around to park. It’s a quieter location, a little away from the hustle and bustle but just a short walk along the seafront to reach the main shopping centre. I...

We came here for a family dinner and The staff were nice and the food was great. I ordered the scallops for starters and it was really tasty, fish chowder for main which was nice and light and creme brule for dessert which I personally think was a let down as it was tasteless. But overall, we had a great...

Popped in for a roast carvery which was very lovely with some chilled out live music and very friendly staff and welcome. Definitely a great place to go if you're in Minehead. Oh yeah, try the Kingstar 🍺
