This is a fab B&B in Minehead, a lovely seaside town. The room was very nice and breakfast was lovely. Andy is a very friendly host. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a couples retreat or a place to go with friends.

Located just far enough from the centre of town, but immediately next to it. Clean, warm and well decorated and well turned out by the new, friendly team. Great breakfasts, including gluten free bread for those like me and fresh baked bed which the 'other half' enjoyed with relish. The enthusiam of Andy and Helen is visible. Other reviews are...

We have stayed at Montrose every year since 2009 and had our break booked for August. We have to admit to being a little disappointed to receive a call from Ed 3 weeks before to say he had sold it due to retirement and was leaving before our stay but assured us a lovely couple had bought it. How right...

This is the 5th or 6th time we have stayed at the Montrose Guest House in Minehead. Ed and Carol, the hosts, are very friendly and most attentive to their guests requirements. The comfortable bedrooms are immaculate and kept to a high standard, as is the whole facility. The well prepared cooked to order breakfast never fails to satisfy. Off...

Just what you need from B & B. A friendly and efficient welcome. Spotlessly clean room, comfortable bed, peace and quite. Breakfast spot on and the owners happily accommodated my food intolerances upon request without question or difficulty. Handy location for town centre, beach and travel connections. Parking right outside on driveway. Stayed one night in November, would have happily...

Stayed here for just one night with my husband but would loved to have stayed longer. Montrose Guest House was warm, immaculately clean and with everything you could possibly need. There was lovely hot water and we could control our own radiator temperature. The tea/coffee tray was plentiful with hot chocolate and two packets of delicious biscuits and, plus, a...

Stayed here Fri-Sun 9th-11th October. Ed & Carole greeted us and showed us to our room, Ed explained how tv and fridge worked and Carole brought us fresh milk for our tea and coffee. We stayed in the ground floor room which has a small conservatory and outside patio. The room and bathroom was absolutely spotless and shower gel, shampoo...
