We had a fantastic week's holiday staying in the self-catering cottage with our two sons (24-31 July 2015). It was rather magical driving along the single track lane to the farm and finding the self-catering cottage ready for our holiday. Truly a place to unwind and relax and a different pace of life. The welcome pack and complimentary cake was... More

Penny and Roger welcome you warmly to the family's farm, which is in a beautiful setting, at the end of a single track lane. The farm house is pretty and facilities good. Their hospitality style is relaxed and easy, one cannot fail to feel the benefits of this combination. Penny is a wonderful cook and the breakfast is... amazing!

An opportunity for a one night stay to explore the north Somerset coast near Porlock - we hoped to stay in a peaceful, green, rural oasis. I am very happy to say that we found precisely what we were hoping for! A wonderful drive along quiet country lanes brought us to the farm. Ducks and lambs running around the fields... More

We arrived to the farm at about 7.30 pm and found a note on the entrance door that pointed us to our lovely, comfortable, spacious room. When we went to get the luggage we met Roger, who told us where we can go for dinner, showed us the warm and cosy sitting room and told us about the fridge with... More

We didn't know what to expect before we arrived at the farm - it could have been anything between a new age hippie confine to an 'eat muesli and like it' place........this is neither and could not be further away from any misconceptions. On arriving via a well signposted country lane from Minehead we were given nothing more than a... More

Warm and friendly welcome, comfy bed, very efficient central heating, uneven wooden floors as befits a lovely old farmhouse, fabulous ensuite, candles in the room and in the ensuite, organic teas and refrigerated milk in the corridor, cafetiere to make real coffee in the room. For 'Four in a Bed' aficionados, room and ensuite were very clean with not a... More

We have just returned from a two night stay at Hindon Organic Farm and we are already talking about when we can return. We arrived on Friday evening - with our Springer Spaniel - a note had been left on the front door with instructions of how to find our room. This is a lovely traditional, unspoiled working farm which... More

Warm friendly greeting by the owners, Penny and Roger, and everything afterwards just became better. The room was superb with lots of space, and fantastic charm and character. It was totally in keeping with my expectations of a country farm house. Everything was left for us to use and enjoy on a trust basis. The breakfast was first class and... More

We returned to Hindon, our base for several years of happy family holidays, after a 2 year break and it was wonderful to be back. Penny and Roger were as warm and welcoming as ever, the rooms (like the Exmoor landscape which surrounds the farm) are beautiful and the food outstanding. This isn't the place for you of course if... We came here for a birthday weekend and it is just completely lovely. Beautiful room with iron bed and floorboards, amazing old farmhouse and delicious breakfast with organic cereals and (so my partner reports) fantastic sausages from the farm. The farm itself is beautiful, and the surrounding countryside lovely - we walked in the sunshine to the beach and got... More
