Never again would I stay here. How this is: a) not the ibis budget (when the rooms are quite frankly disgusting) b) costing me £80 for a night is completely beyond me. The rooms look filthy, are poorly kept and have old style heating which has been left on in our room making a terrible situation unbearable! I will be submitting a complaint in the hope of getting some money back!

A very scruffy student behind the bar does the check-in. I was put in a room about half a mile from the lift. The decor, and maintenance in tired and the hotel seems to describe it as 'funky', presumably to cover up it's failing. On the plus side the staff are charming and helpful. I found I was in a 'disabled' room and looking for the light switch in the night pressed an emergency bell which I had not realised was there. Someone very promptly knocked on the door to check it I was OK. There are reading spotlights over the bed, always a positive in a hotel. However these are placed so low down you are liable to bang your head as you read !

Single room for £63, reasonable value, but not good service. On arrival the receptionist was on the phone. After a wait she went to ask the 2 guys in the backroom for help, but they did nothing but continue chatting. When she did finish chatting the process was easily done. My room was the furthest from the lift, and the corridor had a strong scented cleaning product smell that made me sneeze a few times. The room was adequate, but the water was not hot.

Filthy dirty sh#t hole. What more can I say. I was supposed to be there for 3 month work-related stay. After one horrific night left NEVER to return. Do not waste your money. Dingy smelly dirty dusty old outdated. Complete refurb needed 10 years ago .

Just landed from our holiday and was so excited to get in to bed and go to sleep. We arrived to a dodgey looking carpark and already felt unsafe. Seen a sign saying £11 parking even though we’d paid a fortune for the night anyway. Outside before we even walked out there was a man, sat on a chair with about 8 cans of beer next to him giving us very scary looks. We walk in and the check in desk was at the bar??? Weird. Get our key and go to our room, the hallways was horrific and felt very hostel like. The lifts just shouldn’t be operating they was about 100 years old. Got to our room and it stunk of old, it was cold, dingy and unclean, I had the worst anxiety in this place and no exaggeration we was in there for 3 minutes before I’d booked another hotel 5 mins away and left. PLEASE DONT STAY HERE!!!
