Excellent accommodation for a very reasonable price Spacious room with high class bathroom Large feta cheese starter but lasagne a little dry but overall great value Strange atmosphere with music coming on intermittently every 5 minute Possibly because of a combination of b& b residents and campers.

I booked and paid for my stay at the Carriage House a couple of days in advance, and reached it after a long walk across the moors. I was given a warm welcome, and shown to a spacious double room with a great bathroom. My window looked out onto the hotel's little campsite, with the moors stretching beyond. I didn't...

The food here was really nice and well presented . Would definitely visit again. Only slight down side was my son had egg chips and beans for his tea took a further 5 minutes for his tea to come out and had to hold back eating my own meal so he wasn't eating his alone. Overall was clean fairly busy...

It took us 3 hours to have a 3 course meal on a Sunday afternoon. I know this can be a busy time but the waitresses had no sense of hurry about them at all. I asked for extra toast for the very runny pate and waited 20 mins and then received a very thin slice of underdone toast. I...

We were backpacking the Pennine Way. We were received by friendly helpful people who cooked excellent food for us (I'm one of those picky, awkward veggies) and served the best of Yorkshire beer. Just how helpful they could be was demonstrated when I was unable to continue and needed accurate, local advice. Thank you Bev and Steve I got home...

a comfortable stay in a quiet inn. It is a short walk through a garden into the center. The cake and coffee a much appreciated with the cake being remarkably good. Our room has two beds, two TVs and a sitting area with a mini fridge. Once the heat was turned on in the second day the room was very...

Taken 50mins from sitting at an un-set table to take our order, and that's with us asking. Restaurant about 30% full. 2pm on a Sunday is peak time but ran out of most meats and still charged extra to substitute to another meat. Taken another hour to bring food. This is the second visit with similar service, only go for...

Having eaten here before I can say that the food is great, however this review is about service and the fact we didn't actually receive any food, upon ordering we were told a 40 minute wait,no problem with that but 40 minutes passed ,then 50 minutes, then we noticed 2 other customers receiving food who had come in after us so we asked...
