This lodge is a really pleasant place to stay Crisp clean white sheets, spotless rooms , plentiful hot water and warm centrally heated rooms Great cooked breakfast prepared and served by Shanane(spelt right I hope) and the lovely Janet. House manager Louise who is too attractive to be behind reception was extremely polite and informative on checking in. All in...

Booked this hotel as a stop over point on our way to the airport. Rooms were clean and offered everything we needed for our overnight stay. The décor was a little tired in places but rooms were comfy. The breakfast was fine for what we wanted and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Only niggle was that, because we...

location:. Excellent location . Ideal for Manchester Trafford Centre and local tourist areas. Rooms: clean but in need of modernisation. Rooms 1 and 10 situated in entrance hall and disturbed by residents returning late at night slamming doors and using drinks machine. Food: Good quality and well presented. Staff are attentive and efficient with good attitude. The bar is attractive...

The staff are lovely and really accommodative. Really nice scenic place from the outside. The hall smelled of damp on arrival and the smell of damp was really strong in the bedroom. The decor is really dated, however, the place is clean as best it can be. Breakfast wasn't great either and could not eat it. Good value for monies...

I had read reviews on TA prior to staying here so had an idea what to expect. Thankfully, the accommodation wasn't as bad as I was expecting. If you are expecting rooms in a lovely country pub then that is not what you get here (although I believe there are a few rooms in the pub round the side). There...

This isn't a stunning hotel but it represents good value for money. The rooms are very standard, nothing special, but are clean. The staff are friendly and the food very good. A double room plus buffet breakfast for £50 per couple really is amazing. The setting is usefully close to Huddersfield, whilst still being quiet and feels semi-rural. The upstairs...

We were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived after a long day of driving. The property is beautiful and it has a very nice restaurant and bar. Our room was in a separate building and, ours anyhow, didn't have a phone which was a minor inconvenience. Also, getting wifi was tricky (I had to go to the main building/restaurant to...

Having stayed with this chain on many occasions, it's rare for me to find a new propertyto stay at. Well, that's what happened this time at Kirkburton. The welcome was friendly as it usually is with Innkeeper's Lodge. My room was one of the 'outside' rooms and was a little unusual. You gained access from just off the car park...

First, it may be difficult to find although our Satnav got us straight there - well to The Foxglove pub - there is a very small sign under the pub's showing Innkeeper's Lodge but hardly noticeable. Food was very good and freshly made. Rooms were in an annex apart from the pub (no noticeable noise)

Stayed last weekend on short notice as my parents couldn't make it and offered us the Virgin voucher, must say the pub attached was great, steak was great, staff great, but the attached Annex hotel is what I'm basing the review on, at first the room was great for the price but someone came back at around 1am and decided...
