Friendly & efficient reception and car parking voucher. Beautiful bedroom with every desirable facility. Great breakfast and friendly efficient service. Beautiful location beside the sea and park with lovely cliff and beach walks. We thought the bar entrance area should be painted/decorated better. If we return to Folkestone we will look nowhere else.

Yet again I booked this hotel on Groupon, and I was not let down by this nice hotel. Receptionist was new but was very welcoming with a nice smile. She did however not give us information like....how to get to our room, what lift to use (they have 2), what time breakfast was, but as she had only been there...

We stayed for one night at this hotel after reading some quite good reviews on TripAdvisor. We stayed in room 237 on the second floor which had lovely sea views. The hotel is a bit dated (pink flowery wallpaper and chintzy curtains etc) but we felt like this added to the charm of the hotel. You are welcomed by all...

Must say straight away that I'm a Best Western fan - I like the idea that they use existing hotels but put their brand on it so that there is a certain level of quality and standardisation. Granted this doesn't always work but usually it does, as is the case with the Clifton. The Clifton has a great position overlooking...

Stayed at the Clifton for 2 nights. Our room was good, but hot, and I was unable to turn down the radiator. So the following morning I mentioned (not complained) this and asked if someone could get the radiator turned down.. The manager immediately gave us another room, and I have to say, the new room was just fabulous. The...

Stayed for 1 night with family ( 5 rooms) in a excellent run hotel with very hard working staff with a very friendly manner. Nothing was to much trouble and was made to feel very welcome. The rooms are of a good size with a kettle, tea, coffee, iron, trouser press etc. The bed was very comfortable and a good...

We stayed at this hotel a couple of weeks ago for 2 nights DBB . The hotel is well situated and the staff were extremely friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The evening meal was lovely and the choice of breakfast was great. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend to family and friends.
