Always a good night's sleep when I'm travelling for work. Cheap price, easy check in and super comfy beds. Staff are always so lovely ad well (Sojan was super helpful and kind). The showers are always so lush as well :)
Nice hotel which was very clean and the COVID restrictions were very well handled and we felt safe and secure. The staff very exceptionally helpful and friendly. The pub onsite was very nice with good food and service
Clean, comfortable, modern room. Friendly staff, always said good morning. Slept well. Even though the room was pretty well soundproofed. There are still people who don't care about anyone else and shout and crash about in the corridors.
Allocated room 201 for a 6 nught stay DESPITE asking for a quiet room. On entering the room 1. The sofa was food stained in 3 places 2. The spare pillows were without covers 3. Repairs to the wall near ventilation were incomplete - repaired but unpainted. Given that you provide info on your standard of cleaning practices, this was nowhere near good enough. We requested a change of room for all these reasons.
The night started off brilliant! The man at reception looked at me a way I’ve never experienced, the eye colour, the complexion, facial expression, everything about this man was another reason to be staying in Folkestone premier inn. As we collected our room keys we proceeded to room 17, from this point it all went downhill, started off alright, transformers, dominos, and good vibes, life was good!. After a good transformers and chill I proceeded to try get some rest for my big day tomorrow. Unfortunately my slumber was disturbed by a mass gathering of youths. We attempted to contact the people above through speaking out the window, with a lot of trial and very little success it began to bother us. The time is currently 3am, a scream and a bang was heard from above..I AM OUTRAGED, I Chuck on my clothes and proceeded to inform reception of the circumstances. After explaining to the kind old man at the reception he informed me of the half a dozen police cars outside, and that the officers have already breached the room above. Satisfied I return to my place of slumber, things were quiet...too quiet, 2 gunshots were fired, I poke my head out of the window to get a closer listen, only to be greeted by 3 men in balaclavas collecting a large bag of narcotics that had previously been discarded out of the upper story window in panic. They shine a light right in my eyes and told me if I tell anyone they will find me, I don’t know if I should be telling you this or not. They proceed to move on and heard one of them saying “tape him up and do him” we then heard what could only be described as GBH section 18, the terror I was feeling unlike anything I’ve ever experienced, after accepting it was his fate and not mine I return to my Lenny Henry good night sleep guarantee. I had roughly 2 hours 47 minutes of consistent panic attacks and sleep paralysis. I was then woken to what I thought was another dream but I had to accept it was reality. I left that day and never looked back, the only thing on my mind was Lenny Henry repeating his slogan again, and again like a broken record. Lenny...you promised me, but you did not deliver 💿😔, I was not satiated with my guarantee, I want my money back.…
