I played St Pierre 'Old Course' today. Whilst I never experienced any rain, it was very evident that the course had received recent rain. It was very 'heavy' under foot. There were two temporary greens and one temporary tee. The greens were not too bad but I have played on much better ones over the last week that are all...

Thank you for your recent feedback following your golf experience with us. In the past two week we have had above average rain fall with high winds. Due to the parkland layout of the Old Course high winds at this time of the year does result in a lot of leaf falling and our full ground staff are continually working...

Stayed here for just one night with a vague (company weekend away) memory of staying over 30 years ago. Very comfortable room with a nice view and great service at reception and in the bar. Our only gripe was that the main restaurant was closed and Zest really doesn't serve our kind of food: a very limited menu and masses...

This hotel is beautiful, the setting very picturesque. The golf is good, the spa facilities are lovely. The staff were attentive throughout our stay. The restaurants deliver a good quality of food and service.

A beautiful setting and grounds of this partially period circa 1600/1700, modern extension Marriott hotel with all the luxury amenities synonymous with the Marriott brand. Slightly outdated pool, but a superb gym, Spa, crèche and reasonable restaurant (single .. So the menu gets a little boring on a long stay). The surrounding area is of great interest, lots to do...

My family stayed at the hotel over the weekend of 6 November. The customer service was exceptionally good throughout. The staff without exception were courteous, attentive and cheerful at all times. Special thanks to Kirsty at front desk who sorted out booking issues before our arrival. The bedrooms were well appointed and quiet, beds extremely comfortable. Several lounges to relax...

I stay at a lot of Marriotts (and I mean a lot) so I think that gives me more insight into what makes a good, average and poor marriott. In addition I am also a Platinum member of the Accor group so that gives me insight into what makes a good Hotel as I get to compare a lot. I...

we arrived at the hotel on the 6th of November to be greeted by a lovely Scottish receptionist who informed us that we had been given an upgrade to a suite by the lakeside which was stunning! we had a gorgeous meal in the very historical Morgans restaurant and I must say we both went to bed with full tummies!...

Whilst the husbands played golf, my 2 sisters-in- law and I pampered ourselves in the steam room, gym and pool. Relaxing on the sunbeds, reading magazines and chatting - just what we needed. Beautiful grounds, lucky to live in Chepstow with this on our door step.

My family stayed at the hotel which I must say was excellent and well worth the money. Unfortunately we visited the Zest restaurant one evening with our kids and was completely let down by the following: Very expensive - £37 for a bottle of VillaMaria - rip off. £30 margin on a bottle of wine is wrong. Service was ok...
