Ruth and her Husband could not have been more inviting on our arrival! The room was comfortable and the breakfast (served extra early at our request) was especially tasty! Ruth's directions to see the Christ the King monument were spot on and gave us an extra view of Ireland that we had not planned on seeing. The Ballyglass Country House...

We booked 4 nights at Ballyglass and had a wonderful time. Ruth looked after us very well and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely room and the breakfast was very good.enjoyed the forge bar for a meal and drinks and spent Sunday night dancing in the hall to a nice band. Would definitely recommend the hotel and look forward to...

My wife, son and I had the enormous pleasure of staying at this wonderful country house hotel for just over two weeks this August (2015), and we cannot praise it high enough. It is a family run hotel, run by Bill, Joan, Liam and Ruth (and a small, but very dedicated staff) who all made our stay an outstanding success....

Country house elegance situated just outside Tipparery offering a varied fare of fresh produce, food is excellent. A private dining room for groups if required. Good service. Well worth as a choice for dining out.

We booked one night on our way from Dublin to Cork. It's located in a very lovely part of the country- the Glen of Aherlow. It's a well-established family run country hotel. Hospitality is superb. Ruth and 'grandma' were wonderful hostesses- catering for all requests and dietary requirements. Shortly after we arrived, we were greeted with lovely cup of tea...

stayed here on business for three nights .....lovely old quaint house ,,,,now dont expect top quality rooms as they are quite dated but this is part of the charm its like going back in time .......breakfast is top class as was dinner each evening in the forge bar and restaurant .... the hosts were superb and the service was excellent

Great welcome by Ruth , great attention to details , old world charm hotel, excellent dining , breakfast to die for , black pudding top class, Forge Bar cosy with fair prices Ruth's local knowledge and advice is worth seeking out.

I stayed with Ballyglass Country House Hotel and I would highly recommend it . One of the best places I've ever stayed Top class food , top class service and made feel like part of the family , will never forget it. Thanks again to all at Ballyglass. Daniel

We ate in the restaurant over the weekend and what a fabulous experience it was !! The food was of exceptional quality and presented beautifully. The waitress was most attentive, nothing seemed too much trouble, Fantastic value for money and a drink in "The Forge" in the grounds to finish off the evening just made it for us, well worth...
