We booked a twin room and on arrival were welcomed by the friendly reception staff and given keys to room 315. The reception has retained its grandness with a fabulous staircase and chandelier. Our room was a good size, to kettle, hair dryer, iron and board all in the room. The bathroom was clean and had a shower over bath....

My partner and I and our little baby stayed here on our first break as a family. Found a great price for a room on booking.com and so gave it a try! Phenomenal location for Buxton and something rather grand about the hotel as it overlooks the town. Easy walking distance to town (all up hill on the way back....!!!)...

A lovely space for us and twin 2 year old girls however it is starting to show its age. Floor needs relaying and the rooms were all very hot. Breakfast was good, with an adequate selection and all...

We arrived at the Palace Hotel and was immediately greeted by very welcoming reception staff. We were promptly given our keys and off we went in the lift to our 3rd floor room. The room itself was plenty big enough and plush. The bathroom was clean and roomy. Put in room 211, overlooking the front lawns and down over Buxton....that's as good as it got. The room was supposed to be a standard double, if that's the case would hate to...
