We stayed here in March 2017 for a 2 night break. We cannot recommend the place enough. The pub is on the high street as you drive into buxton, with a tiny car park behind (although they manage to squeeze a good few cars in). The rooms are all behind the pub and are not at all affected by noise...

My wife and I stayed here for two nights Fri/ Sat . Firstly the rooms are good , clean and nicely finished - no problems at all. The staff were brilliant , friendly and helpful . Breakfast was good , although as noted in other reviews , the pub itself is a little tired . Car parking was awkward and...

Don't be fooled into thinking that the accommodation might be a dark, poky room above a pub - because it's FAR from that. Our room was modern, clean and spacious, with an ensuite bathroom with 2 basins and a roomy shower, and a private entrance from the car park. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, and the breakfast was...

We booked this hotel due to attending a 40th birthday in Buxton. The hotel was ideally placed right in the heart of Buxton and not too far from the party venue. The rooms appeared to be very new, nice and clean, décor was neutral and unmarked. Furniture was all matching and suited the room. Bed was a double but 2...

The rooms are at the back of the pub and appear to have been recently refurbished to a high standard. The beds are comfortable with good quality bed linen whilst the bathroom has been finished to a high specification. The pub itself, I feel, needs a refurbishment and was absolutely packed in the evening which resulted on is going to...

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your stay. The pub itself is very popular and does tend to get quite busy in the evening, so I'm delighted this was not a problem in terms of getting back to your room, nor did it disturb your sleep. I'm glad the bed was comfortable and that you...

Excellent Accommodation, Very Comfortable bedroom and good facilities. Lovely breakfast in the morning. When I arrived on Sunday evening needing somewhere to stay and saw the interior of the pub, I did not expect to see such a lovely modern bedroom. Thank you to all and thanks for the dry weather!

Stayed for one night as we were exploring the town. We had a lovely family room, very clean and beds really comfy. Parking available on site. Fabulous full English breakfast in the morning. Would certainly return.

This hotel is great, we stayed in the family room with our two small children. the room was nicely furnished and furbished. Beds were comfy and clean. The bathroom could've done with a power shower, but it was fine running the shower from the bath. The staff were friendly and helpful and took the time to chat to our children...

This is a hotel where you have to experience first hand to understand the tardis like scenario of where you enter a pub and end up in a upscale spacious (BIG) luxury hotel room that has all of the essential ingredients for a perfect getaway - Central heating, key less entry, sky, wi-fi, silent night sleep, cleanliness and hot water....

Brilliant room for a family of four. Clean, tidy and comfortable. We arrived late Friday and were greeted by the staff who helped with parking as it's like a game of Jenga but works. Live music, great atmosphere and very friendly staff. I definitely recommend staying here.
