Beautiful view from the room window on a cold morning what more could...

first of all there is no front garden to this property the picture you see overlooks the park. with the property in the back ground. conned. you can pay for a draughty bay window over looking a public walkway full of noisy school children going and coming back from school shouting and doing what kids shout about .and in the...

My husband and I have stayed here quite a few times. Although the decor is a little tired and very dated, it is clean and the beds are not too uncomfortable. You do get a good breakfast and if you are lucky enough to get a room overlooking the park it is a lovely view, however you may end up...

Despite the name, this is a B&B. Arrival welcome was lukewarm with no offer to assist with bags (up steep stairs). The premises are tired but kept clean, warm and tidy. Our room was quite basic but the beds were comfortable. The beverage tray was miserly whilst the size of the room tv was ridiculously small. There is a comfortable...

Good old fashioned service and comfort. Lovely quiet location next to the lake and handy for the Opera House and gardens. Visited this hotel on several occasions now and had a pleasant stay each time. Good traditional English breakfast and friendly staff.

This is a deservedly popular hotel/guest house overlooking the Pavilion Gardens. OK we didn't have a view from our bedroom but you'd have to be a clever 'mine host' to work it so that every room had a park view! The owner was very pleasant and welcoming as were the other staff. Breakfast was a most pleasant occasion (though 2...

Lovely, friendly, family run hotel with views overlooking the lake in the pavilion gardens. Very reasonable rates but you may need to book a little in advance....it is popular. Excellent full English breakfast. We will definitely return.

We wanted somewhere close to the theatre with good reviews and a reasonable price - Tripadvisor usually provides the answer, and it did. Great location, lots of parking, friendly staff, good large room with en-suite and a good breakfast. Location gets 5/5 easily - right on the Broad Walk only a short 5 minute walk into the centre of Buxton....

Very warm welcome from the owner to this stunning period property, lovely room overlooking the Pavillion Gardens and excellent breakfast. What more could you want, well you do get more! A very comfortable lounge with a good choice of games to play and a television and friendly, efficient staff. Oh and if you're lucky you'll get to meet Jake the...
