Stayed here on 19/9/15 as we were going to see a show at The Opera House. Roughy 20 minute walk to the theatre. We had the twin room which over looked the pretty garden. Friendly hosts & gave us a map so we could find our way into the centre. Bonus of giving us a fresh jug of milk for...

We returned to The Old Manse in Buxton for a 2 night stay after our enjoyable experience in February. We had a different room on the first floor at the front of the property which was just as well appointed as the previous one we had on the top floor at the back. Elizabeth was a great host as expected...

A scrupulously clean and tidy, traditional B & B. Very pleasant landlady who happily imparted her knowledge of Buxton and the local area. Very comfortable bed and excellent english breakfast. Would be very pleased to stay again.

We stayed here for three nights. The Guest House is in a good position for getting to the town, the accommodation clean and comfortable with everything that you will require, the choice of menu offered for breakfast was excellent. Would be happy to recommend The Old Manse that is run by friendly and helpful owners to anyone.

Returned to Buxton where we got engaged to have our honeymoon and have tried a few b&bs now. This has so far been my favourite. The hosts were lovely and nothing was too much to ask and I really appreciated they were there when needed, would let yo know if they were out and left you to enjoy your holiday....

This was a real home from home and very good value for money. The breakfasts were away above what you would expect from a Guest House. We stayed for 3 nights and found the location convenient. Being able to make fresh coffee and to have fresh milk made all the difference.

We stayed in room 6 on the top floor with our 3 year old. We had a nice kingsize with a nice fold out bed settee for the little one. The style of B&B is homely and traditional. En-suite was a little small but perfectly functional and and seemed to be recently updated. The free wifi was excellent. The proprietors...

Comfortable room with important superking bed. Substantial breakfast and pleasant hosts. I am lactose intolerant and my milk was specially bought in which was much appreciated. This overnighter was part of a birthday treat for my partner after a fabulous show at the Opera house . 10cc certainly have lost none of their magic. What musicians!

Clean, quiet and centrally located. Breakfast was delicious. The owners were very helpful, suggested we take the guided tour on the vintage tram and we would definitely recommend this, Nic was extremely informative. Would definitely recommend this B & B.
