Went to this venue last night for our work's Christmas party, and was very disappointed. To start with there was this awful "clown" of a waiter who was annoying everyone and shouting at us; found out later that he was the entertainment for our party. I could have punched him. I had not been in the building 5mins. and he... More

I have been staying here twice a month for the past 10 years so i feel well qualified to finally write a review. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is ok. What really disappoints are the rooms which are getting tired. Some have had a lock of paint which helps but they are very much in need... More

I've stayed at this Holiday Inn five times now; I've always found the rooms to be clean and comfortable, check in staff always friendly and helpful The hotel is close to several chain restaurants and is easy to get to from the A127. It could do with a refresh, overall though, good value - The Succinct Traveler.

We are staying this weekend and have to say our room stinks of cigarettes. In fact the whole top floor does. It really isnt nice! The bed is very comfortable and the view of the lake is nice although the hotel could definitely do with a refurb. Staff seem friendly

Quick over night stay. Rooms were ok but starting to look tired. Need a bit of refurbishment. Staff on check in were pleasant and chatty. Bar service was a bit slow but I think 1 was in training. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Spoilt for choice.

Paid £119 for a double executive room. On entering the room it was like the South Pole, somebody had left the windows open!! The room had tea/coffee making facilities, 2 bottles of complimentary water, choc bar and pretzels which was a nice touch. The bathroom is in need of upgrading, the bath taps are badly scaled up! I forgot my... More

Stayed here for 2 nights for business. Stayed in one of the Executive rooms. Large room with lovely additional extras. Room service order came quick and lovely staff. Bar was busy and had a good vibe. Great location for other places to eat and things to do.

I Stayed At This Hotel For One Night Because I Had A Function To Attend. The Staff Were Pleasant And Although The Outside And The Gardens Are Lovely I Found Parts Of The Hotel Needed Attention. The Upstairs Restaurant Provides A Nice Outlook.
