Checking in was very speedy, receptionist was friendly and helpful. Once in our room, we were greeted by a huge cobweb in the door way, inside the beds were comfy and the tv was modern. The room could do with a lick of paint, the wardrobe was a good size and the room was an average size. The bathroom was...

This is nothing like the Campaniles in Europe. Old, tired decor (though thankfully clean). Cracked sink, old bath tub. Dangerous bath tub too as no grab rails to get in or out to shower safely. Every other cheap hotel chain has nice walk in showers. Right on the edge of a noisy dual carriageway. Difficult entrance/exit on to a very...

Looks like what I expect a halfway house to be! Small & dingy, 2 galvanised steel doors before you are in your box room with no air conditioning or fan. Window opened 1/2 " Very dated. The lampshade looked like it had been picked from a skip. The TV was new and probably more expensive than the room. Only plus...

Basildon is a God forsaken place so if you have to stay there choose a very nice hotel to cushion the blow.Do not stay at Campanile. Where to start ? It as very poor value for money.I flew into London and i could have got a nicer hotel there for the money. Ugly as can be,looks like a cross between...

Stayed one night recently, room was very basic but was clean, however handle on my door fell off which gave me a worrying moment or two. I booked breakfast and got for the reduced rate - thankfully as would have been even more disappointed if I had paid £8. A few items had already run out even though there was...

Lovely staff and very friendly too! Prices reasonable although sadly the rooms look rather tired and a little tatty! Our room was very hot and sadly they do have to invest a large amount of money in this place!

People are very kind, the place is clean and the room is cleaned daily, the food is good. The wifi is free. If you need a quiet clean place where to relax after a busy day, without paying too much, this is the one.

We stayed here for 1 night midweek, and were disappionted by what we got for the price charged. It was a expensive 1 night stay. The room and bathrom are tiny. There is hardly any space to put your suitcase. It's a two storey hotel and quite dirty. We did not stay for breakfast. There is no Air conditioning.

Thank Hema P
