I really see no point wasting much time in this review, so here's a quick list of what you get with Britannia. - Cold, dark rooms - no working wifi - world's slowest lifts, which half of the time don't work at all - dodgy staff On a positive note, the bed linen were clean and the showers hot. Still,...

I needed single room, had no car, had to be central with access to train and bus stations. It had to be economical as six nights accommodation was required. The reviews on Tripadvisor filled me with trepidation, but at £30 per night for those six nights I made the booking. It is certainly an undeniable fact that a total refurbishment...

Worst ever hotel I stayed in absolutely grubby dated and nothing worked properly. The radiators don't work in the room and if is still cold this time of year, it's a poor excuse of a hotel do not ever stay there total waste of money.

As usual booked in for a weekend for crufts. It's a cheap hotel and close to the train station. The beds are comfortable but the mattress protecter needs washing. After every use found tea stains on ours. Hotel needs a total revamp. Lifts don't always work not brilliant when you have heavy cases to bring down the stairs. Cleaners only...

We'd been to the theatre next door to Sister Act. n returning to the car park to collect our car and drive back to Derby we realised that the car park closed for 10pm. No choice but to stay over. As was next door to the theatre, late in the night, tired and hungry we decided to book in. This...

Absolutely disgusting!! Dirty doesn't cut it. Hairs in bed, all over toilet seat and in bath. Tea stains all over the desk unit. Empty wrappers on the side. Dirty marks and 'crumbs' all over floor. Stains all over the bed. We stayed because we had to, otherwise we would have walked out and refused. Altho probably would have got a...

I had to book this hotel last minute and paid for "executive" twin at £79, definitely not executive or worth the £79! Finally after a few words and a long wait, finally got moved to "standard" £59 room, it was exactly the same room just a lot dirtier and a horrendous smell of cigarettes considering it was a non smoking...

We stayed here (again) the night before Tough Guy up the road. Fine for a very cheap place to get a night's sleep, but it's falling apart. Lots of rust and dust. Hairdryer set the smoke alarm off. Bed hard. Staff friendly and helpful throughout though.

Cannabis, drinking, loud music, banging on walls. Those are only a few problems. Good luck with finding your rooms it's like a maze. Rooms are hot as hell. I requested a refund and they refused. There are people waiting for council accommodation living in this hotel. It's basically a drug den.
