Booked a single room as I was arriving late and leaving early. Single rooms are very small with a very uncomfortable mattress in the one I had. Requested an early breakfast but was told it wasn't possible. They charge extra for paying by card which was something I haven't seen for years. I won't stay here again.

Hotel needs a make over. The Manager and her staff were very helpful . The music was good but on new years eve felt the singer had to many long breaks she needed to start later so she could get people dancing before the new year. After her last break she did not appear until 11.55 and hurried in the...

The Britannia is a gorgeous early Victorian building, resplendent with period charm and staffed by hard-working, pleasant people. However, the property is in dire need of investment and refurbishment. My experience was, even for the low price, very poor. I stayed in a twin room on New Years Eve with a friend and was keen to see the back of...

Have stayed here a fair few times when down for a match and / or visiting friends. Most recently stayed with my son in a twin room just after Christmas as he joined us for a school reunion. Can't argue at £32 for the room - clean, spacious not noisy , good hot bath. Not necessarily where I would take my wife...

Well what can I say overpriced to start with. Paid £55 for a twin room when we booked a double. No apology was given just a simple that's all they'd got left so it was that or nothing. We was then asked if we wanted smoking or non smoking I thought all hotel rooms where non smoking after the ban....

Second time I have stayed here, the first time being a year ago. Did feel a little smarter this time around. A luxury hotel this isn't, but I paid less than £40 for a night in a clean, basically furnished but fairly spacious double room. Very convenient position next to the Grand Theatre and within a few hundred yards of...

Stayed here when a friend and me were going to a concert at Wolverhampton Civic Hall. Upon arrival we were 10 minutes before the check in time so told that we would have to wait. No smiles from the check in staff, just them gossiping about a girl who had come for an interview. The rooms are small and dirty,...

I wouldn't stay at this hotel again if you paid me. The rooms are dirty, dated and falling apart. The tiles are coming off the walls in the bathroom. I wasn't expecting too much but booked for the convenience close to the darts but it was not worth it. On the day we checked in to the hotel it was...

Me and my friend booked this hotel as we were having a night out in Wolverhampton. We were well aware it was a budget hotel and wasn't expecting anything spectacular, but what we did get was far worse than we could have imagined! Got to our floor which absolutely stunk of smoke. Got in our room which was basic, fine....
