We stayed for 1 night before a wedding in Wolverhampton. The room was very clean, lovely big bathroom with a bath and a shower. The host is very helpful and friendly, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits in the room. Everything was top class and incredibly reasonable. We have stayed once before several years ago and service was just as good...

Stayed here just the one night , but enjoyed . Rooms were clean , nice character , and warm . Plenty tea and coffee . The hotel downstairs although we didn't get much chance had loads of character , something out of a agatha Christie novel , would liked to have chilled there a while . We didn't get chance...

Thank you for posting your review and I am glad you enjoyed your stay. You are right, we don't pretend to be a chain hotel, but try to provide something different by retaining the traditions of the Edwardian era with modern facilities. Please keep us in mind if you are in the area again. Thanks, John.

My husband and I along with our guide dog were warmly welcomed by Keith , he explained everything clearly to us and told us if we needed anything else, to ask him! He was so helpful and friendly ; nothing was bother to him! Would definitely go back and definitely recommend this place to others !

Thank you for posting your review. We do try hard to provide value for money and 'clean, comfortable, friendly' probably sums us up! Being close to the major motorways always helps when guests are visiting attractions in the West Midlands. Please keep us in mind if you are visiting the area again. Thanks, John.

Cheap hotel but seemed more like a large B and B. Quirky and quaint. The room we had was a little small although the bathroom was huge. Minus points for no hair dryer or shampoo. Standard items for a hotel room. Decent enough stay for a low budget.

Thanks for your review and I always respect constructive criticism. We do try to provide value for money at an inexpensive price. As an old Edwardian building we can't try to be a chain hotel, so our rooms are quirky and homely rather than 'boxey'. :-) Body and hand gels are provided, but I take on board your comments about...

What a lovely place to stay. Very unique and quirky but Immaculately clean. The rooms are spacious and well equipped and very comfortable. The decor is out of this world. The en suite is large and has a bath and a shower. The proprietor is extremely helpful and welcoming. The breakfast is excellent and very good value. A wee gem.

Thanks for your review. I am pleased that you found the hotel to your satisfaction. The building was erected in 1909-13 and internally it retains many of the beautiful original features of the Edwardian period. I am also glad you found the staff service helpful and we do try be a little quirky, yet modern! Thanks again, John.

Barons Court is an amazing hotel. Keith the manager was very accommodating and helpful. It was fantastic that we were provided with glasses for the wine we brought in to drink in the drawing room which was beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the room spotlessly clean. I slept really well. The breakfast was very good and value...

Similar to any Victorian pattern house, this one spread over an area with nice rooms and big bathroom space. The structure was old with features from 1900 to 1940s. We arrived late in the evening and the manager was very helpful. He explained to us about the interesting places in and around the town. We had a very pleasant stay.
