Travelodge Warrington Gemini shines in cleanliness and service, with guests consistently commending the spotless rooms and the staff's excellent service ethic. The hotel's atmosphere is also a hit, thanks to its recent makeover that has introduced plush furniture and a contemporary vibe. While the rooms are celebrated for their cleanliness and updates, some guests have noted them to be on the smaller side with occasional noise disturbances. Even though a few might return out of necessity, the hotel's value and convenient location near local amenities are widely appreciated.

We stay here whenever we are working at conventions in Manchester or Liverpool as it is much cheaper than a city hotel and only 20-30 mins drive to either location so perfect for us.

We have a double room and it's small but does the job for a one or two night stay, we have members of staff who stay in a family room which is bigger with a double and single them.

Rooms are clean, showers and baths are clean, beds are comfy and the staff are friendly.

There are a number of food options directly by the hotel along with secure parking. WiFi as with any Travelodge is free for 30 mins a.day then you pay. But it's not dear. I often just use my unlimited data and hotspot. A huge Asda is just around the corner as well.

A brilliant one night stay here, we attended a concert at the Etihad stadium and this hotel was only 35 minutes drive away and was only £30 for the night. The hotel was clean, felt safe, and very quiet considering the location next to the motorway, plenty of free parking at the front of the hotel too. A wonderful welcome at check-in by Brian, happy and chatty. Very good location, food/drink places around include Subway, Harvester, Marston pub, McDonalds, Tim Hortons, Starbucks.

You get what you pay for. But I have no complaints!

We paid £40 for a saver room on a Saturday night- booked due to not wanting to drive 200 miles in a day to Knowsley and back. And the room was small, clean and comfortable.

There wasn’t much in the room, except a kettle and enough tea and coffee and milk for one cup each ( I’m sure more would of been given for a longer stay)

The bed was comfy and the shower worked fine, the room was tidy ( did hear the motorway- but that’s expected with a services branch of a hotel) and that didn’t bother us at all.

The staff were welcoming and chatty and friendly. I left something in the room after checking out and with a simple call, a lovely woman called Gemma ( I think) brought it down to us, couldn’t of been happier with the customer service.

Plenty of parking and amenities close by
Good location for motorways
Great value for money

Would and most probably will stay again

After a rather difficult journey to the north west I was looking forward to my stay in. This Travelodge from its great reviews.

The price £102 per night was a little high but I though never mind with Travelodge you know what to expect.

Check in was easy with a warm welcome but that’s when it started to go down hill. The room was a little too basic for me. There were no towels, no cup and no tea making facilities The proportions of the room made it echo and when speaking to my colleagues on the phone they thought I was in a bathroom the echo was so bad.

The room was swelteringly hot and although they had provided a fan, there wasn’t anywhere close to the bed to place it so that it could blow on you in the night. The window was restricted to about 10 cm of opening. Now I appreciate that they don’t want people to fall out, but really? I manage to not fall out of windows all the time at home! In any event the location, above a number of restaurants, meant that there were people talking so loudly you couldn’t sleep until the early hours.

I tried to raise concerns with the reception in the evening but it was like the Marie Celeste and when I called the number on the screen, it disconnected.

All in all a dreadful visit. I would have given this 1 star if it wasn’t for the great welcome when I arrived.

Even though it is parallel to a motorway, one can hardly hear the zooming of cars and lorries from within.
Environmentally spot on, couple with highly trained staff with smiles, and also rich in problem solving skills
great sense of humour and expert in Communication.
If you need a stop over on the M62, don’t hesitate to visit Travel Lodge at Warrington Gemini.
Can’t wait to pay another visit soon.

Can’t fault it here really! 4 stars as nothing mind-blowing for a 5th star, but provides all the facilities you could need. Appears to be recently renovated which made it feel sleeker than a lot of other Travelodges I have stayed in.

Ample parking, clean bedding and well presented rooms, good warm water. I will say that the lift is quite small so possibly bear in mind for any accessibility issues, but I’m sure a ground floor room could be requested in those circumstances. Minimal road traffic noise coming into the rooms also

Plenty of choices for restaurants/cafes within a decent radius, but you do need the motorway to get almost anywhere so not ideal for those without a car I would say.

Best location, everything you need is surrounding area. The hotel is newer then ones around this area as you get a room key card rather than old key and key fob. Plus you can further double lock room from inside compared to other hotels for safety. Receptionist Vanna and Supervising manager Sue are out of this world accommodating and genuinely nice people. Vanna is from Italy and just has that feel good vibe about her and is very approachable, respectful, understanding and caring. She should be a manager in my eyes and I stayed at travelodges worldwide. Sue is an outstanding Supervising Manager, and I see why she has the job. She helped me in words I cannot express, and runs her hotel to rye highest standards, which is putting other hotels and their higher ups on notice. Very down to earth and Loves dogs. Thanks guys, keep up the great work.

As someone who has stayed in the Travelodge for some time, I cannot fault it. The beds are very comfy and cosy, the hot water in the shower heats up very quickly. The showers themselves are powerful unlike some hotels where it just drizzles out. The electric wall heaters get hot very quickly, which is needed in this current weather. The staff are extremely friendly and I felt very welcome staying here. They are always happy to help anytime, day or night, whether it be fresh bedding, towels or refills on condiments such as tea and coffee. The Travelodge Gemini offers customer service on a superb level. Thanks to Sue, Sharon, Shannon, Brian, Aaron and the rest of the team. 10/10

Cheapest I could find close to Liverpool on a Saturday night. Didn't need bells and whistles, just a clean and comfy bed to sleep in. Stay was smooth from arrival (checkin took less than a minute) to departure (drop the card in the slot). Room was clean and tidy, as were the towels and linen. Room was surprisingly well shielded from the nearby M62. I didn't notice any disruption from other guests nor from outside and slept well. The two staff I encountered (reception and cleaner) were polite and welcoming. No complaints here.

On arrival the Staff Kyle & Talitha, were very welcoming. I would suggest the the hotel has had a refurb in recent-ish times and the room and bathroom were clean, tidy and huge. Due to local work commitments I spent 14 nights there and it was more than adequate for my needs. It is a short walk into Warrington, which has a variety of bars and restaurants. It is nearly directly across the road from a large Mall and a 10min walk to a large Asda for any supplies. The room was serviced once a week, parking is abit of a pain, there are some spaces FOC on a first come first served bases or more parking which is approx £5 per day. Definitely one of the better Lodges I have stayed in.
