Our insurance booked us for 14 night stay due to having work done on our property as we live near by. We found the Travel Lodge to be a very good place to stay yes its basic yet we had all we needed, the bed was comfortable and the area around and about the hotel was very quiet! We were given an extra large room which was very clean tea and coffee in the room and due to Covid hand wash and body and hair wash was on the walls. We had clean fresh towels daily. The staff on reception were really so helpful and always with a smile.Whch says a lot these days!.~~The breakfast box which we had each morning was well enough for us. Although we didn't stay for the 14 nights the staff on rception again were as good as any 5* hotels.
Thank you

We stay here whenever we are working at conventions in Manchester or Liverpool as it is much cheaper than a city hotel and only 20-30 mins drive to either location so perfect for us.

We have a double room and it's small but does the job for a one or two night stay, we have members of staff who stay in a family room which is bigger with a double and single them.

Rooms are clean, showers and baths are clean, beds are comfy and the staff are friendly.

There are a number of food options directly by the hotel along with secure parking. WiFi as with any Travelodge is free for 30 mins a.day then you pay. But it's not dear. I often just use my unlimited data and hotspot. A huge Asda is just around the corner as well.

We’ve stayed here several times over the last few months. We moved to Wales but still need to come back to Warrington on occasion so this hotel (and it’s proximity to Ikea) is perfect for us. You can often find good deals on the Travelodge website which makes a one night stay over excellent value for money. There are a few restaurants either a short walk or short drive away too so no shortage of places to eat.

After a rather difficult journey to the north west I was looking forward to my stay in. This Travelodge from its great reviews.

The price £102 per night was a little high but I though never mind with Travelodge you know what to expect.

Check in was easy with a warm welcome but that’s when it started to go down hill. The room was a little too basic for me. There were no towels, no cup and no tea making facilities The proportions of the room made it echo and when speaking to my colleagues on the phone they thought I was in a bathroom the echo was so bad.

The room was swelteringly hot and although they had provided a fan, there wasn’t anywhere close to the bed to place it so that it could blow on you in the night. The window was restricted to about 10 cm of opening. Now I appreciate that they don’t want people to fall out, but really? I manage to not fall out of windows all the time at home! In any event the location, above a number of restaurants, meant that there were people talking so loudly you couldn’t sleep until the early hours.

I tried to raise concerns with the reception in the evening but it was like the Marie Celeste and when I called the number on the screen, it disconnected.

All in all a dreadful visit. I would have given this 1 star if it wasn’t for the great welcome when I arrived.

I was not told that the breakfast was 'in a box' when I booked my room through the call centre. I asked if breakfast was included in the price and was told no but I could have breakfast at £5.75 (ish) and thought that was good for breakfast, when I read the confirmation and my wife saw 'breakfast in a box' she investigated and found out the truth. We cancelled the 'breakfast' on arrival and ate at the restaurant closeby. The call centre did not also inform me that there would be a £2.50 booking fee, I would not have used the call centre but as we were booking on the day of arrival we were not able to book online.

Travelodge still have some older properties that need a little more work but the newer ones such as Gemini have found the right balance of comfort and cost. Breakfast is not an issue for most people and wasn't for us because we were visiting relatives. The room had everything we needed and was pleasantly warm as we entered. Travelodge realise that there are other options for accommodation and have risen to the challenge. I am rarely disappointed.

Have stayed here many times and we have always enjoyed our time. Staff are friendly, the rooms are quite basic but very comfortable and always clean. We could see the extra measures that have been put in place due to covid and we felt comfortable and safe.
I have to say a very big thank you to the staff for their help because when we tried to check in, we discovered that my partner had booked the Travelodge in Warrington town Centre by mistake but as we were booked in for a meal at the Indian Restaurant next door to Gemini we really wanted to stay here. The girl on the reception desk went out of her way to contact the other hotel to arrange for us to change our booking for a little extra cost. We were very happy.
Thank you to all the staff who helped us out.

You get what you pay for. But I have no complaints!

We paid £40 for a saver room on a Saturday night- booked due to not wanting to drive 200 miles in a day to Knowsley and back. And the room was small, clean and comfortable.

There wasn’t much in the room, except a kettle and enough tea and coffee and milk for one cup each ( I’m sure more would of been given for a longer stay)

The bed was comfy and the shower worked fine, the room was tidy ( did hear the motorway- but that’s expected with a services branch of a hotel) and that didn’t bother us at all.

The staff were welcoming and chatty and friendly. I left something in the room after checking out and with a simple call, a lovely woman called Gemma ( I think) brought it down to us, couldn’t of been happier with the customer service.

Plenty of parking and amenities close by
Good location for motorways
Great value for money

Would and most probably will stay again

Super welcome from Claire who helped us have our two rooms close together in our preferred location. Standard Travelodge room with modern larger TV. Shower as standard. No plug close to bed (as seems to be usual for TL standard rooms). No housekeeping on stays of more than one night so ask for fresh towels and tea/milk.
Lots of close by eating options. Large free and well lit car park. No Travelodge cafe so drove 5 mins for fast food breakfast.

On arrival the Staff Kyle & Talitha, were very welcoming. I would suggest the the hotel has had a refurb in recent-ish times and the room and bathroom were clean, tidy and huge. Due to local work commitments I spent 14 nights there and it was more than adequate for my needs. It is a short walk into Warrington, which has a variety of bars and restaurants. It is nearly directly across the road from a large Mall and a 10min walk to a large Asda for any supplies. The room was serviced once a week, parking is abit of a pain, there are some spaces FOC on a first come first served bases or more parking which is approx £5 per day. Definitely one of the better Lodges I have stayed in.
