Handy as right opposite station, and could achieve old world charm but is rather dated and disappointingly the heating was very poor so room was cold, and so was the water to shower and shave in come morning

Stayed here for one night, was supposed to be 2, I'm glad my job got cancelled as I was not looking forward to a second night here. Pro's: 1. The staff are all very polite and friendly. 2. Nice size room. 3. Good tv Con's: 1. The place is very tired and in desperate need of a complete overhaul. 2....

This was the worst hotel that I have stayed at in my whole life [I am an old person with extensive travel experience]. The Victorian style building was maybe "renovated" back in the 1960's on a tight budget - or so it would seem. The decor is rough and amateurish. The electrical wiring is very budget [including the extension to...

90The great thing about this hotel is the location, opposite Bank Quay station, but that is absolutely where the positives end. No WIFI unless you are in the bar, no hot water in the room. I did bring this to the attention of the reception staff, who told me to run the water for a bit. Well I did this,...

Hotel was bit seedy. Bedroom was dated and water was luke warm so no hot showers. Beds were not made up and room uncleaned after 1st night. Complained but no improvement. Breakfast was good. More expensive than Premium Inn at £65 per night. Should have gone to Premier as it was cheaper and far better. Cleaner too.

I travel a lot due to my working condition and stayed in many places in Cheshire. This hotel wasn't a good one though. I booked a room with free carpark and wifi, basically free wifi is a big lie!! You can only use wifi in the lobby not in your room. Carpark is very small so I was lucky to...

Stayed here at the weekend as we were going to the rewind festival, the building appears very grand, right opposite the quay bank station and only 5-10 min walk into the city centre for the shops/bars etc Upon arrival we were worried about the accommodation as it does appear in need of a refurbishment, but the gentleman on reception was...
