We stayed with Judith and Peter for five nights, and it could not have been better. The double room, the en suite facilities, the dining room, the living room, and the outstanding breakfast were all top notch. The breakfast was especially good, starting with fresh fruit, and then followed by locally made sausage, bacon, eggs, etc. In addition, there is...

This was a perfect 2 night stay. Judith and Peter were the friendliest hosts, with Judith going out of her way to ensure that I had black pudding for breakfast. The room was very comfortable and I enjoyed very good night a sleep during my stay. My wife and I enjoyed a glass of wine or two outside in the...

We had some initial trouble with our GPS in finding this working farm, but our hostess Judith had given us some instructions which we were able to follow quite well. At the Gulworthy cross roads. We have stayed with Judith & Peter over quite a period of time now and their standards are excellent. The breakfast is the best and in any combination u require. The bedrooms are not massive but are always well appointed and clean. We hope that we will be able to use their services for many years to come.

By the end of our stay, we were very sad to leave! From the moment we arrived, Peter and Judith were really friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Any time we needed recommendations as to what to do in the local area, they were a font of information. The breakfast was excellent - a nice selection of cereals, toast & jam and...

My husband and I stayed at Higher Woodley Bed and Breakfast for the night of a friend's wedding. I can't recommend it highly enough - Judith and her husband couldn't have been nicer (helping me with a minor dress-malfunction minutes after we arrived and even driving us to the venue.) The room was lovely and clean, the bed SO comfortable...

We were on Dartmoor for a winter wedding nearby. The weather was incredibly bleak outside, but from the very moment we stepped inside the warm welcome more than made up for it. Judith is an absolute delight and was SO patient with the antics of our 19 month old son. Fantastic breakfast with great choice. I could have spent the...

What a great find! My wife and I were "lost" Americans heading from Cornwall to Dartmoor National Park in late June with no place to stay for the night. The first B&B we tried was full, but they immediately called Judith, who had a room available at Higher Woodley Farm. We've stayed at many B&Bs in England over the years,...
