Good place to stay. Very near the town centre but a quiet street. Excellent breakfast and friendly host. Twin room was too small and needed somewhere else to sit but beds very clean and comfortable. Able to park opposite the house on the street overnight. Overall good value for money and would be happy to stay there again.

Thanks for writing a review cmoore. And we're pleased that you enjoyed your stay overall. The Cutler from Gloucester who built the house in 1680 didn't take future needs into account! So we are aware our twin room is fairly small (we do say this on the booking sites) and are working on what we can do about it. Hope...

Rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. Patrick cooks a lovely breakfast in front of you, he is a great host. Linden House is right in the centre close to the shops and restaurants. Ross is a lovely place to explore.

My daughter and I spent a very comfortable night at Linden House and enjoyed an excellent breakfast cooked and served by the extremely helpful and entertaining proprietor Patrick. Linden House is well situated in the heart of Ross on Wye, next to the church, and close to The Kings Head Hotel where we were made to feel very welcome and...

From the moment we arrived the owner, Patrick could not do enough for us! He was helpful in making suggestions about canoeing the river Wye and repeatedly offered us lifts as we were without a car. The room itself was spacious, nicely furnished and quiet- very conducive to a nights sleep! The breakfast in the morning was made to order...

Breakfast cooked to order, delicious! Comfy nights sleep. Patrick was very knowledgeable and informative about the local area. Excellent Italian restaurant just down the road. Good base for visiting the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean.

We enjoyed our stay, although for some the stairs would be a challenge. The house is very interesting, and our breakfast included home-made bread, jam and marmalade. Very clean, comfortable firm beds. We were in the top suite, which can also be rented as seflf-catering.

Very attentive host and room was lovely with a great view. Ideally placed for the high street. Would definitely recommend and stay again. A perfect base to view the Wye Valley and the surrounding areas. Patrick, the owner, had good local knowledge and tips on places to visit too.

Linden Guest House offers a central location in Ross-on-Wye with easy access to a number of restaurants and pubs. Despite being so convenient for the town - really a mere 50 yards from the centre - it is remarkable how peaceful it is. The building is situated on a one-way street, which has very little traffic, and opposite an impressive...
