Stayed for two nights and could have stayed longer just for the breakfast. Proper bacon and sausage, which tends to be a rarity in many B and B's. Run by a lovely couple, friendly and down to earth. Handy for the town centre, an excellent place to stay. Highly recommended.

Kirkee House is within easy walking distance of Oakham town centre and railway station, though there is is a local bus as well. Carol and Paul are friendly and unobtrusive hosts. The breakfast was outstanding, and included just-squeezed fresh orange juice! My single room was very comfortable and unlike some single rooms, was a good size. The en-suite was small...

We stayed at Kirkee House for 2 nights on our way from Devon to Norfolk. We were made very welcome by Carol and Paul who are a very helpful, friendly, caring couple. Our rooms were very comfortable, quiet and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was great with fresh fruit salad and porridge just as I like it. I think one would have...

Lovely place to stay and run by a very nice friendly couple with the help of the best dog in the world! Everything was first class and with some nice extra little touches such as mint imperials and bottled water in the bedroom. The breakfast was excellent and well presented with a great choice and some very welcome freshly squeezed...

If you are planning to stay in Oakham don't look any further than Kirkee House. We were there last weekend with friends and we all agreed that could not have stayed anywhere better. Carol and Paul made us so welcome, our rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean and the breakfasts on both mornings were superb. It's worth a visit to...

Very clean, comfy bed, very friendly owners. Home made bread for breakfast. What more do you need! The owner even offered me a lift to a near by Pub! It's located in a residential area with a short walk to town. Will use again and highly recommend.

Just returned from a 4 night stay at Kirkee house. The hosts could not be more attentive and helpful. I was staying in Oakham for my sons wedding , a few days before the wedding my son suddenly found himself without acommodation on the eve of his wedding and Paul & Carol re-arranged things to fit him in despite having...

I recently stayed here with four other friends for three nights. This house was immaculate, I couldn't think of anything else they could have done/provided. If I want to find something it was a bit hot and I am usually cold! The radiator wasn't on but the lovely underfloor heating in the bathroom was. It was soon solved, we opened...
