I stayed overnight for work. Checking was swift and efficient. The room was nice and spacious, facing out onto the sea. I didn't sample the evening menu as I went out to dinner, but the hotel was so close to the restaurant, felt very safe. No taxis required. The breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice as much as you want,...

Have visited several times now, and had really good enjoyable family get-together meals. Excellent menu, in fact seems to be getting better all the time, good variety, some vegetarian, and cracking value, £25 for a 3 course meal of such quality ! Lovely atmosphere, maintaining old fashioned ambiance with modern service standards.

We attended Afternoon Tea for a Golden Wedding celebration and were delighted with the ambiance of the place and the lovely array of food available for this occasion. The staff very pleasant and helpful but kept a discreet distance from this private function.

Stayed here on a 3 day break on a bed and breakfast basis as we were visiting friends. It's the 3rd hotel that we have stayed at in Lytham and St. Anne's and this has been, by far the best. The Hotel is warm, comfortable and nicely furnished. Breakfast either cooked or on a buffet basis left nothing to be...

We went for a meal at the Clifton Arms for Valentines Day. We weren't disappointed. Food was excellent- fillet steak cooked perfectly. Canapés were a bonus and creme brûlée was delicious. There were lots of staff and so our service was great. On the evening there was a pianist playing who added to the ambience. All in it was a...

We visited this hotel as the venue for a family celebration and stayed overnight. The bedroom was warm, comfortable, nicely furnished and well provided with wardrobe and drawer space. The reception (for around 100 people) was handled well. Both food and service were very good. The evening event was also very enjoyable. The hotel was well provided with seating areas...

Just returned from a two night stay at the Clifton Arms Hotel as a birthday treat. We stayed in a Director class room on a bed, breakfast and evening meal basis, which cost £200 per night. This cost included an allowance of £30 per person for dinner each night. We arrived at lunchtime and was told that our room was...

We recently stayed for two nights dinner, bed and breakfast. The hotel, itself, is situated right in the centre of Lytham. There is a large green in front of the hotel and then the promenade. It is possible to walk both to the right and to the left of the hotel along the seafront. We walked round the bay to...
