My husband and I stayed at Gablehurst for two nights as we were running the New Forest Marathon on the Sunday morning. Gary was a great host, served us a yummy full English breakfast and even helped us out with some safety pins we needed to pin our race numbers to our shirts :) The house was beautiful with a...

We stayed for two nights in July and was very impressed with the quality of the B&B. Far preferable to the expensive hotel our friends stayed in nearer the ferry. Bed was very comfortable, breakfast fantastic. In fact we had the whole top floor to ourselves. Bathroom was fitted to a very high standard too. We walked into and out...

Stayed in this B&B for 4 nights and loved it! Very lovely 1930's house within walking distance to Lymington town centre. If you don't fancy to walk there there's a pub within 600 m distance with good food as well. We loved staying in the attic, the top floor with walk-in wardrobe and bathroom was exclusively for us. Very clean...

We stayed at Gablehurst for 2 nights whilst visiting the New Forest and the Dorset coast. The house is lovely, not right in the centre of Lymington but around a 15 minute walk into the town (or if raining a short and cheap taxi ride away). We had the room at the top and had the whole of that floor...

Great one night stay at Gablehurst in Lymington. Easy to find; plenty of car parking; friendly owner; spotlessly clean modern room with TV, coffee making facilities, etc; 10-15 minute walk into the High Street for bars, restaurants, etc; great breakfast (full English cooked fresh to order) and served in pleasant conservatory. Overall, we would thoroughly recommend this good value B&B.

We used Lymington as a base for the Southampton Boat Show and Used Boat show at Lymington. Both my wife and I were welcomed on arrival and shown to a delightful room at the rear of the property. Our daughter and her husband had stayed here last year, they had an annex which suited them with the baby. We found...

My husband and I recently spent two nights over the Bank Holiday at this establishment and it was superb. Gary and his wife were very welcoming and the house and garden were beautiful. We were lucky enough to be given the whole of the top floor, which comprised of a large double bedroom, a separate dressing room and bathroom with...

We stumbled upon gablehurst after a interesting day filled with new forest walks, ponies, heat stroke and a pounding head, which was in dire need of a lay down. We called in advance and they were very friendly and told us to come by to have a look before deciding. We were there in no time and they kindly showed...

Gary was a great host, he was very flexible with my time of arrival which helped as I got the train down on a friday night after work. I was shown my room and where everything was/how it worked and then left up to my own devices. I was also given a front door key so i could come and...

We stayed for 2 nights here and had an excellent time, the room was super clean, modern furnishings and comfortable bed. Nice powerful shower and walk in wardrobe. Gary was really accommodating with us and hospitable. Breakfast was good and location excellent within walking distance of the high street. All in all excellent highly recommended.
