This may not be everybody's cup of tea because there is a conservative club downstairs but the building is beautiful. Small car park at rear. We had a nice bedroom with an ensuite. Yes there are toiletries open( which somebody was unhappy about it in earlier review) but it's only what you have at home. They buy shower gel and...

We were pleasantly surprised. After booking we read the reviews left by other guests and wondered what we were going to find. Dave gave us a pleasant greeting on arrival and showed us to our room explaining a few things about the room. Our twin bedded room and bathroom were clean and had everything expected from a guest house. The...

Visited Wisteria for 2 nights on the 10th & 11th September 2016. Car parking was not available due to marquee erected. Offered money to park in marks and Spencer's car park over the road and carry our clothes through the high street. We were not very impressed with this having had no notification. As per previous comments this is Lymington...

Lots of street noise and loud pub with live music and disco directly across the road, so not aware of any noise that may also have come from the bar downstairs. Loud creaky floorboards in the room. 3 steep steps up to get to a cramped bathroom which had an unpleasant odour. Carpets grubby throughout. Breakfast host Jo was very...

My husband and I spent two nights at Wisteria House recently. From their website, which must have been constructed a few years ago, there is no indication that the B&B is part of the Conservative Association, which has a bar and meeting room on the ground floor of the building. It therefore came as a surprise that we had to...

Very good rooms, large and airy. Really good bathrooms. Good water pressure and well stocked with product. Bar downstairs can be noisy but fun. Off street parking. Handy to many shops, pubs and restaurants.

I must comment as this place is very over priced and dirty The bedroom was very noisy, smelly and dirty with my bed covered in hairs, some even looked if they were from the pubic region When I complained I was met with rudeness and hostility from the owner Dishonest, unpleasant and dirty are kind words to describe the host...

Located on the main street in this pretty yachty town, Wisteria House doubles as the local Conservative Club (not that you would know it from the conversations I had with the local at the very cheap bar where friendly co-host Dave will pull you a pint). There are three newly decorated and somewhat eclectically decored en suite rooms on the...

We were looking forward to a mini break in the New Forest. When we arrived at Wisteria House we parked at the back not realising that we would have to walk through the Conservative Club to get to our accommodation. The room was tired looking and we felt the photographs on the Website were far better than the reality, we...

We have just returned from a three night visit to Wisteria House and were very disappointed with the accommodation. We would agree with previous reviews which describe it as 2star but charging 4 star. The descriptions and photos on the website are misleading. The rooms were in dire need of refurbishment - there was plaster coming away from next to...
