This was a very nice hotel. A bit dated and in need of a refresh but on the whole couldn't fault it. The reception and bar area was warm and welcoming and the rooms were nice and cozy. The food is made from fresh and is delicious and well priced. It is also situated at the end of a cul-de-sac...

A very pleasant stay, staff lovely and very welcoming. The full English breakfast was spot on, cooked and delivered very quickly. Bedding and towels lovely and clean. Bedrooms looking a little tired but otherwise were fine. A must for people who have an interest in trains as the Great Central Railway runs at the back and side of the hotel.

They defrauded us by charging us for 2 adults and one child, but when we arrived they said that they only have a room for 2 adults. The room was very small and they didn't give us any extra mattress either. As a result one of us had to sleep on the floor.

We stayed here for a night back in march and it's still stuck in our minds! The hotel looked so lovely online, and when we got there the rooms were so run down, hideous decor, the beds moved and the bathroom was tiny! We also found it extremely unnerving that the door locked with only a key, so we had...

not clear on Trip Advisor, until we got confirmation that meals not served on Sundays, so had to go out. Reception not very welcoming. Breakfast staff very helpful. (5 rashers of bacon a bit much!) Bedrooms very 'tired' - Carpets rather grubby. Tiles missing. Mould and damp on walls.

Staff were great. Rooms was super comfortable, exactly what we needed. Clean bathroom, room good view of the railway and a fantastic price. Exceeded our expectations which is rare these days! It's very refreshing to leave and say... That was great. We should leave a review!

The staff were very pleasant and helpful and because the chef was not well, we had a great deal on the room price. Sadly it was not very clean. There was damp on the walls in the room. The walls in the breakfast room had stains on it, as did the chair covers.

Hotel was easy to find, it has a large car park and there was plenty of space to turn. The staff were welcoming. The room was clean and well presented. Ensuite was very clean. Facilities were good. As a solo, female traveller I felt safe.

The hotel is down a quite road but I would recommend it to everyone staying in Loughborough. The room might need a little TLC but they are very clean and bedding and towels were pristine. Everyone was extremely friendly and made you feel welcome, the food in the restaurant was very good, both in flavour and presentation, again I would...
