A few miles off the M6 this is an excellent place to stop overnight, better still if you have a dog with you. They have one 'dog-friendly' room in what looks like a converted carriage-house, with big French doors onto a corner of garden with...More
Five minutes off the M6 (and its road works) and you find this country house set in a quite village complete with its own lake, many country walks, that unmistakable whiff of farm yard, and a very good pub a few minutes stroll away. The...More
I stayed for one night as part of a cycling holiday. The b&b had everything needed for the stay - garage for bike, room itself was top quality if not plush, good breakfast and close to village pub for evening meal/ drinks. The b&b was...More
Old house, old wooden furniture, old engravings on the walls, warm welcome, good comfort, very good english breakfast. A good pub at walking distance for the dinner. Nice countryside scenery around the village. Conveniently closed to the airport.
Extremely helpful and welcoming hosts, very comfortable room, lovely breakfast - which was provided early to suit my plans. Dogs are allowed in your room and there is a delightful lakeside walk just 5 minutes away - can't fault the place!

You can either book the Twin in the Garden Annex, for single occupancy, which is on the ground floor situated along the terrace and is good for guests not wishing to climb the stairs. There are 5 steps into the house at the back or it is level from the road side,
Otherwise, we have a single with a private bathroom 5-6 steps across the landing (I won't usually recommend this room for elderly guests or guests who need to visit the bathroom frequently during the night). There is also a double ensuite on the 1st floor. There are 14 stairs up to the 1st floor.
I hope that helps. Please give me a call on 01565 733433 if you have any further questions or wish to book.
With kind regards,
