Well, I booked this as it had good reviews. How wrong was I! The room was tiny, the bathroom in dire need of redecoration (the ceiling was mouldy in places), the shower was an old electric one with just about enough water coming out to have a wash. The pillows on the bed were a disgrace - old flat and...

stayed for one night enroute to Scotland for family wedding.situated next to busy road but even with window open it wasn't too noisy for us. Good sized room lots of extras like tea, coffee, hairdryer, comfortable bed and excellent cooked breakfast. Easy to find ( checked Google maps before visit) Room was far to warm for us and had to turn...

Plus's: Lovely little guest house and very well priced at £48 for a single room. Clean and neat room with single bed. On-suite small but functional. Breakfast first rate. Gardens are beautiful. Firstly I must say how accommodating this couple are, and secondly: what a great cook Carmen is. I have stayed here several times for business and have always felt safe and welcome - vital as a lone female. Highly recommended.

I booked an overnight at Laburnun Cottage prior to flying from Manchester airport. Despite being late arriving as my taxi driver got lost several times, I received a warm welcome from the proprietors and they helped me when I called them from the taxi to ask for directions. In addition they helped me with details of a taxi driver to...

This B&B is very conveniently situated just outside Knutsford and we stayed for one night following a visit to the Flower Show at Tatton Park. We were warmly welcomed by Rod and Carmen and and had a nice twin room with very comfortable beds, spotlessly clean and everything we could possibly need (including some choccy biscuits!). Breakfast was good, with...

We stayed here overnight on Sunday 3rd August 2014. We had attended our son's wedding in Winchester and were supposed to be travelling back on the Monday. However there had been a mix up and we decided to set off for home a day earlier. We were lucky enough to be able to took his guest house through LateRooms as...

Last year my elderly dog & I used the Annexe for four nights. It was ideal the dog could not manage stairs. The Annexe is self-contained & at ground level. It was simply furnished with a very comfortable bed & a handy fridge. The floor was wooden so easy to clean off muddy paws & I could park right outside...

We stayed as a stopover on the night before flying out of Manchester airport. As others have noted, the room was clean but a bit dated. Breakfast was good. We needed to leave early to catch our flight, and Dave and Stephanie very graciously provided us with an early breakfast. Dave also gave excellent instructions for driving to the airport....
