I was lucky enough to stay at Moss Farm during a recent trip to the North West. Rachel is a charming and engaging host and serves up fantastic breakfasts with ingredients that are all locally sourced. The Paddy Shant is huge and very cosy with a wood burning stove that Rachel made sure was lit each night before my return,...

If you're in the Knutsford area Moss Farm is a wonderful place for a quiet get-away. My husband and I are from Canada, and were visiting family in the area. We had a charming room in the main house. Our son and his children joined us and had their own two bedroom suite across the hall. Our host, Rachel, provided...

All the wonderful reviews written about Moss Farm could not be more accurate. The accommodation was truly special and at a very reasonable price. If you're dithering about booking, just go for it!! The location is great - close to the motorway without it roaring past your window, couple of great pubs to eat in the evening (Golden Pheasant was...

We stayed in the family suite for a few days over half term with our two young children. The room set up was perfect with the Jack and Jill rooms and bathroom. A very friendly welcome with loads of lovely finishing touches (fresh milk in a flask every night when we got home). The fire was lit in the shared...

This was an excellent stay. Our hostess, Rachel could not do enough to help us enjoy our stay. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The room was clean and the home cooked breakfast very filling. We stayed in the old dairy which has the additional use of a beautiful lounge with log burner...

We were attending a family wedding in the area so booked The Old Dairy for the Bank Holiday weekend. It was the perfect place for us all to meet up and spend time together with the flexibility of self catering. The Old Dairy is very spacious, especially the very large, well equipped kitchen/dining/sitting room making it a very good social...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Moss Farm is a beautifully restored Cheshire Farmhouse set within open countryside. We are ten minutes from Junction 19 of the M6 motorway but could be miles away when you get to our remote yet conveniently tucked away farm. We might be rural but we are also very well placed for Knutsford, Barclays, Plumley, Lower Peover and the Peover Golf Club is at the end of the lane. We are within walking distance of various country pubs who all serve excellent food. Knutsford with its glorious Tatton Park and fine selections of Bars and restaurants is a short drive away or 4 minutes by train from Plumley station. Whether you are on business or holiday you will be guaranteed a warm and sincere welcome from Rachel and Andrew. Our aim is to provide you with a pleasant, relaxing stay with a good hearty breakfast made from local produce. We are pleased to offer Bed and Breakfast accommodation within the main house and Self Catering also available in the Annexe accommodation. ... more   less
