We attended a private dining event. Excellent food, great wine and very good service from Jack and Kirstie. The hotel room was lovely and the hot buffet breakfast was surprisingly good. Didn’t play golf but the course looks great and was busy.

Fantastic service from Jack and Kirstie at the wine starting we attended. Went out there way to deliver excellent service. Nice to a have friendly and welcoming team for the occasion! Very impressive for 2 young members of staff.

Just wanted to say we had a great meal in Browns and the service from both Alex and Mark was first class. The atmosphere was good although furnishings are looking rather tired and need a refresh soon. Looking forward to eating there again as we visit 4 or 5 times a year.

We had breakfast in the club lounge and had fantastic service from Becky and Bert. The food was fantastic and the service brilliant. Attentive and just a great atmosphere. It has significantly improved over the last year and the team in place now have really made a difference

Had a lovely meal in Brown’s last night and the service by Alexandra was spectacular. I asked for her recommendation on the desert and I’m so glad I did because we enjoyed every meal we had! She made us feel relaxed and she made our experience a positive one. She’s a brilliant member of the team and Brown’s are lucky to have her! ⭐️

We were let down with a spa treatment for my wife so the start of our stay was compromised. The staff were apologetic and we left it at that. We ate in the club lounge and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the attentive staff. (Basic food but well prepared and served) Martin George & Emily really earned their wages. Next morning at breakfast I had the best prepared poached eggs ever amazing sausage( I rate hotels on their sausage always.) And the service was excellent. We also thought the room was pretty good with quality pillows, bedding and a comfortable bed We will return to this hotel

I came here for a friends birthday, we had a amazing time the service was excellent especially in club lounge George & Martin are a asset to the team they looked after us the whole night, the food in club lounge is also reasonably priced for what you get I would come back again definitely a 5*
