Rooms basic, walls marked and could use facelift. Quite expensive but everything is at this time of year. Tv and WiFi good. Shower powerful. Breakfast included and was great, especially the 2 nice ladies who serve/make it.
* Good position, walk to town centre. Parking available in side street
* We had a room on the 1st floor overlooking the street, we arrived late and only there one night so didn't really experience the guesthouse as well as we could have
Good location: near everything and still silent. Beautiful view from my own room. Bed was good, bathroom too. Kind staff. Breakfast was almost my main meal, with eggs/bacon/mushrooms. Fresh strawberries every morning!
Lovely B&B in Lerwick. Good location close to a bus stop and less than a mile from all ferries. Really friendly hosts. We arrived from the morning ferry and were offered a cuppa and were able to leave our bags and collect our key early....More

Hi, winter is the best time to view the northern lights as it is too light in summer. Because of the gulf stream the climate is milder than most places at that latitude. There are plenty guided tours and restaurants in Shetland.
