Delicious “Warm” scrumptious scones straight from the rayburn. They were tall fluffy with one plain and one fruit scone , great moist taste. Wow the Gooseberry and Blackcurrant jam tasted amazing, definitely homemade with lots of fruit. The Tearoom was stylish, quirky and a vintage feel, really welcoming. Service was outstanding, even refilling our jam and cream pots with no...

Had a lovely walk about Fowey and we was going to have pub lunch but there was no tables so decided on the dwelling house, glad we did had a lovely coffee and an amazing crab sandwich with side salad, Very reasonably priced and quirky surrounding made for a very relaxing brunch/lunch.

We had lunch in the tea rooms of The Dwelling House. unfortunately there wasn't room in the outside area which looked really nice, so we had to settle for lunching in one of the inside rooms, the food was nice enough, though my crab sandwich was a little bland. service was pleasant though a little slow, the room we sat...

If you're looking for a yummy choice of cake to have with your coffee in Fowey then look no further! Just difficult to choose as so many amazing options! Also enjoyed good cappuccino and a lovely layered cafe latte mocha.

We wandered up and down the street trying to decide which eatery to try. I am glad that we chose this one. The friendly staff and owner were attentive. The food was lovely. We shared the cheese platter and followed this with a cream tea. The cheeses were wonderful, the salad fresh and varied and the dressings and chutney home...

The best cream tea I have had. Staff excellent food fantastic and the environment was wonderful. THANK YOU so much. Please go and try as they do do more than cream teas. Lunch and sandwiches or coffee and cake.

We were looking for somewhere to eat in Fowey but it was before 6pm. We went to the Galleon where we've eaten before but they serve 6-9. We then tried the 'Lugger' who also serve from 6. A lovely lady in the Lugger recommended the Dwelling House which is just over the road. It doesn't look much from the outside...

Home cooking, high quality and quirky. Great snacks cooked to order, fab home made cakes, loveliest staff! Visit the ladies loo for an insight into the uniqueness of the place! Fab atmosphere but it does get busy.

My partner and I have just got home form a 5 night stay at The Dwelling House. The room is lovely and the roll top bath in the room a treat. The owners and their staff are so friendly and the service is excellent. The breakfast is delicious, with a wide choice, and the cakes and scones in the tearoom...

“There is only the one room but it is extremely comfortable and you are so well taken care of as the only guests. Make sure you head to Fowey and if using a satnav make sure Fowey is entered as the postcode is thw same for the opposite side of the estuary. Outstanding break with a quality and value of food being second to none.”
