Stayed here for a family celebration. So peaceful, lovely countryside feeling. Peace and Quiet. Accommodation spotless, lovely to have a bath with HOT water. Breakfast was perfect, husband said the bacon was the best he has ever tasted. Lovely view of lakes and ducks while able to eat. As we went out previous evening we didn't use lounge but lovely...

Cannot fault this place. Came for a couple of nights at end of boating holiday. Spotless accommodation with lovely hot bath - very welcome after a week of grotty shower on boat! Jane the owner very friendly and helpful. Fishing fantastic and lovely grounds to walk around. Breakfast excellent. Thanks to all - a bit off the beaten track but...

My mum and I stayed here over August Bank Holiday weekend. Jane, the proprietor, was lovely and ensured that the room we booked had twin beds in rather than a double. The location is a bit of the beaten track so lovely and quiet. There are three fishing lakes in the grounds and some great walks close by. It is...

The location of this B and B is its selling point, it is in a lovely peaceful small village surrounded with pretty ponds that you can take a stroll round. The room is clean, and adequate but nothing special - fairly basic. Poor TVs channel selection. Make sure the bathroom door is kept shut at all times as the slightest...

We stayed for 1 night whilst visiting friends in Dereham. The B and B is in a lovely location with its own fishing ponds and plenty of space. The rooms are of a good standard and have everything you need and the breakfast was excellent. It is very secluded and the roads to it are proper country roads and as...

I stayed here whilst on business in Norfolk and thought it was a lovely place, very peaceful and quiet and totally relaxing. The lodge I stayed in was quite small but very clean but there was no bath, just a shower. The real negative point was that although it was a lovely, rural location literally in the middle if nowhere,...

Just returned from a nights stay at Bartles and it was truly better than expected. Upon arrival we were greeted and shown to our room, advised about the fishing & breakfast then left to settle in. Room was spacious, with own porch area for muddy shoes etc. Wifi worked all the time in room, except no mobile signal around most...

Stayed here for one night last weekend while visiting friends in the area, and were extremely impressed. Had a lovely warm welcome from Jane who was so friendly & helpful. Our room had a beautiful view overlooking the lakes, and was very comfortable and spotlessly clean (was really impressed with the fact that Jane deliberately avoided stepping on the bath...

Very warm welcome from Jane, clean and comfortable room. Reasonable price and next door to a great pub. A lovely change to the boring chain hotels I usually stay in for business trips, am going to find more local gems like this! I'll be back, thank you.

I stayed there in August on my own. It's in a lovely rural setting, clean spacious room and a pub next door. If I'd have known about the fishing ponds I'd have taken a rod. No complaints at all. It is however a bit "Officers Mess" in style and decoration. A little bit safe. It lacks the wow factor that...
