One night overnight stop to attend a local friends party. Room, staff, facilities all made for a relaxing stop-over and would consider again if visiting the area. If approaching from the west be prepared for a very sharp left turn into the premises.

We used this hotel as a base for a weekend break, exploring Dorset and the New Forest. Although slightly isolated (you'll need a car), I can't find fault with anything about the stay. Accommodation, staff, food and drink are all excellent.

Have been for a Sunday roast a few times for a family occasion and every time hoping for an improvement. Alas, not the case. A decent menu and usually a good selection of specials. All sounds very tempting. What is not so appealing is the usual 45 minute to an hour wait without any explanation of why such an unnecessary...

This is the second time we have stayed at the causeway for our connection to Bournemouth Airport for our annual holiday. The room has always been clean and comfortable. It is so nice to be able to have a cup of tea on our return.

Average pub grub; our lunch was fine though. Food well cooked & presented. Staff pleasant and friendly and nice range of beer but wine list the usual boring predictable pub choices. Menu also predictable typical modern day pub food. But it was alright nothing to complain about at all and good value. Happy to go back if I'm local and...

Popped in for a short while as we were in the area. Personally for a first time visit although other people had been before. The historical theme with the posters and train is really nice but not OTT. Very warm and welcoming, looking forward to coming back to try the food.

Had an hour and a half to kill whilst waiting for my daughter to finish tuition, happens once a week at least and this is where I tend to hang out. Why.....2 things; 1 prosecco & 2, a very very good flat white coffee. Obviously I have these at different times but they give equal pleasure😊
