We visited the old vicarage in hinton Christchurch for a friend's wedding. I must say that the first impression of the front of the building was that it was looking a little tired. But once inside the grounds WOW it was a wonderful place. Very large and beautifully kept. There is a large marquee fot the reception and a bar...

Firstly, I would like to congratulate The Old Vicarage for providing a lovely wedding day for my daughter, both for the venue and the catering. Very good. However, the accommodation and staff leave rather a lot to be desired. The rooms (we had two, one for myself and husband and another for my mother) were clean and the beds were...

After a lot of searching, we booked The Old Vicarage for the reception, following the church wedding of our daughter last week. What a good choice! The 3 course meal was wonderful, good quality food well presented, well cooked and served piping hot. The evening food was equally good. The surroundings were lovely, lots of space for guests to wander...

We held an afternoon tea for family and friends at The Old Vicarage and what a delight it was. The rooms were comfy and cosy with two log fires, candles and flowers, which made a very warm welcome on a wet and miserable day. The afternoon tea was perfect, beautifully presented finger sandwiches, cakes and biscuits and scones to die...

We have just had our son Adrian and his new wife Candice's wedding reception at the Old Vicarage, Hinton, Christchurch. We must say that the staff were incredibly helpful and as I'm a Coeliac requiring a Gluten Free diet, I was catered for extremely well.... including delicious canapes and buffet food too. All in all the day was perfect... well...

We had our wedding here last week and there was a lot of preparation as there is with most weddings but I planned a secret wedding from my fiancée. Laura and Julie were so helpful and supportive and I would not of achieved my dream wedding if they had not helped me. The food was amazing and everyone complimented the...
