We like it here as it is handy for the coast and the New Forest and it provides everything we need. There is a very good choice for breakfast and the rooms are a good size too. Everything works for us.

Myself and two friends came here as a birthday treat. The waiter was excellent, polite and attentive. Our meals were very well prepared and tasted delicious. Unfortunately we were too full to go for a dessert.

We had a really lovely Saturday night evening meal. The food was delicious, although the fish pie was a little dry - but we asked for some sauce and they took it away and brought out a fresh dish with more sauce added. Our guest mentioned it seemed a little bland in flavour so there was no charge for this...

We attended a wedding at Sopley Mill on the 12th May 2017 The Fisherman's Haunt is the perfect place to stay as it is only about a mile from this venue. The pub is welcoming, the accommodation is excellent, the food good value for money. The staff could not do enough for you, if we are ever in the area...

We spent the week at Fisherman's Haunt and had a very pleasant stay. The food was good and the Staff was extremely pleasant, notably Lauren, Ben, Steve, Ryan, Jack and everyone else who's names we did not catch. A very friendly place and we highly recommend it if you like the charm of and old Inn and more personable stay.

Great place to stay, clean room and very comfortable bed. Modern en suite. Very attentive, friendly staff. Delicious breakfast and plenty of it. There is a very relaxed, friendly atmosphere about the place. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed one night here when visiting the Christchurch Food Festival and it was perfect. Comfortable and clean room, friendly staff and a really good breakfast. The flask of fresh milk for teas and coffees and home made shortbread biscuits in the room was a really nice touch. We will be back...

Happily surprised with the quality of a pet friendly guest house. Really helpful staff, plenty of parking and a really beautiful location. Easy to find and I'm sure we would use Fishermans Haunt again:)
