B&B for one Saturday night. Very busy weekend in village and had to park in road as car park full. Room 8 in separate building just across car park from pub. Meet at friendly reception and shown room. Very clean, very quiet and nice Queen sized bed. Free WiFi. Reception kindly booked local taxi company to bring us back from...

We came to stay for one night to attend a friends anniversary party. Small world the owners knew our friends and were also invited! The Inn is beautiful in an old village, a far cry from our suburban home. The welcome was kind and friendly. A problem with our shower was quickly attended to. The bed was very lumpy and...

Thanks Jenny and Simon for making my first (but hopefully not last) stay at your lovely pub so fun and enjoyable. Great room and very comfortable. The room was very clean and had all the essentials like tea/coffee facilities and ironing board/iron. Super breakfast. It was the 80s Music Quiz that really hooked me!

Have been going to Castle Combe circuit for many, many years. What baffles me is that in such a pleasant part of the country the accommodation standard is shockingly terrible. I have stayed at some dreadful places that are so bad you couldn't even give them a bad review on here! There are others that are OK but aren't in...

We stayed for a weekend break for my birthday and had the best time. We arrived after the pub closed in the afternoon and checked straight in with a friendly greeting. The windows were open in the large, family room in the coach house opposite the pub so it was nicely aired, on a hot day. There was the most...

This is the best hotel Inn in the Chippenham area for friendly and helpful service, for value, for food which has always been excellent here and we have always found the rooms spot on and very clean. As I usually have a downstairs ground floor room situated within a stones throw of the pub one can't complain. The free car...

We stayed for two nights, the bed was very tired and uncomfortable, room 11 needed a repaint, also the lack of shelf in the bathroom was annoying. The TV was miniscule by todays standard. The staff were friendly and efficent and the breakfast was simple but of a good standard. The pub felt tired and need a general tidy up...

We stayed in a twin room in the Jolly Huntsman for £80 per night. The beds are extremely uncomfortable (you can feel the springs) and there is no soundproofing (any movement from the room above is heard). That being said, the bar staff are really friendly and the food is good. So I'd say - eat here, but don't stay...

Just happened to see advertising sign offering accommodation and were very lucky to get accommodation at this popular pub B & B. Room clean, warm with very hot water. Bar welcoming as were all the staff and delicious evening meal and a good choice of menu. Breakfast custom made by friendly chef. Definitely give this one a try.

We had a wonderful two nights here. The warm hospitality and service cannot be faulted. Excellent food, good beer and clean comfortable rooms. The open fire compliments this fine traditional and friendly pub atmosphere. We are looking forward to the next time.
