Breakfast was piped in !!!! The owner is ex 4th & 7th Royal Dragoon Guards band and breakfast was "interrupted" with an impromptu few notes on his bagpipes. If everyone wasn't awake before then, then the certainly were afterwards as would be the whole street! This was followed by the national anthems of France, Germany and Holland on the clarinet...

Lovely welcome, very nice people that own it, good location, spotlessly clean, slept well, breakfast was very tasty 😋 would come back again. Great views from our room plus great selection of shops and this hotel was a four in a bed winner.

Just back this morning from a lovely two days spent in the Highland Guest House in Callander. Charming lodgings run by a fantastic, friendly couple. We were made most welcome and had a great breakfast each morning; to the sound of bagpipes played by our host. Thank you Angela and Tom for a nice, albeit snowy, break. Norma and John...

Lovely four poster bed and lovely furnishings. Usual tea/coffee facilities in the rooms which are charming. Excellent welcome and service especially the early morning call on Toms pipes of Highland Cathedral. Easy Parking and centrally location

Nicely located in the centre of Callander this is a great location. But this is more a B&B rather than a hotel. Rooms are clean, but on the small side and a little tired. Breakfast is fine, nicely cooked and that's it. I couldn't help thinking it lack something. It having won "Four in a Bed" I'd expected something a...

We stayed here last Friday for the first night of The Callander Jazz and Blues Festival. The hotel (B&B) is right in the centre of town and close to everything. Parking was reasonable as we managed to get a space just round the corner. Room was quiet, clean and tidy. The early morning wake up call...bagpipes at 8.15 was a bit...

Nice little B&B ideally located for walks in the Trossachs. The owners are friendly and welcoming and willing to advise if asked. Its clean and warm but don't expect 5 star, the price reflects this. Room was small but we were only using it to sleep in as we were out walking all day so it didn't really matter to...

This excellently located guest house provided us with a comfortable and well-equipped room. It was clean and unfussy. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and the start and end of breakfast time is marked byt the owner playing bagpipes! Lovely touch. There is a bar, although we did not use it and lots of information...

Stayed here on a last minuet deal, it's a good value b&b. It's basic but has everything you need for a comfortable nights sleep! The place is very clean and quiet. Breakfast was lovely, a good choice of hot cooked food, obviously we had the Scottish! It was good quality. There is also a range of cereals, yogurt, juices and...
