We had tea in here on two separate occasions as they allowed dogs. Wow. The decor of the place needs attention, it is far from plush. However, what it lacks in decoration it more than makes up for elsewhere. The staff are so friendly as are the locals who drink there. The food, wow, I have never tasted food as...

Great food for amazing prices , good cold beer and excellent entertainment. Rooms are amazing for price and are getting renovated for spring. Amazing wee gem in central scotland. Breakfast is to die for with fresh to order and delicious black pudding.

On my way to my favourite hotel to have a good time and let my hair down. Will get back to here and let yous all know how it went. Can't wait to see the staff their all fantastic people😜😜. The entertainment is great if you're up for a sing song on the karaoke.

Really enjoyed our one night stay here at Dalgair house hotel. Staff were lovely, rooms are old but nice and full of character. Really nice cosy pub and Callander is a lovely little town! Would definitely recommend to eat at Mhor Fish and Mhor Bread if visiting Callander! Thanks for a great stay at a really good price.

This place is right on main street Callander, which is very good for getting around. You can walk everywhere in Callander from here. Parking is behind the house, very convenient. Great breakfast, freshly cooked to order, fresh fruit and coffee in a cafetiere. The rooms are ok for the price, bit dated, but very practical and clean. The shower was...

Staff were lovely. Room was reached via a drab corridor and was very cold, damp, and had a store room off it. Looks like some maintenance in progress but overall somewhat dilapidated. Maybe the other rooms are better.

Do not be put off by the appearance because the food is plentiful and tasty. Home made burger both beef and chicken, piping hot food when delivered to the table. The ingredients in the accompanying salad are diced and put in a beautiful salad dressing, the chef makes up. The prices are great too. I will be back if in...

The mattresses are old and uncomfortable. There is mold, rot, and peeling everywhere. The bathroom floor had holes in it. Beware the tub - it is very slick, and even slicker with the mat in it. However, the owner was pleasant and the breakfast was hearty.
