We've just got home from a week at Cerenety, and had a great time. It's a brilliant site with a lovely atmosphere. Staff are really friendly and helpful, and make amazing pancakes for breakfast. It's located only about 15min walk from town, via the cannel, but feels like it's out in the middle of nowhere. It is basic in its...

The campsite is beautiful and the volunteers/ staff very friendly. We had a great weekend, loved every minute and didn't want to leave. Waking up to fresh crepes every morning is the way life should be.

A back to basics, friendly campsite. Facilities are what they are advertised as online, and are very basic but still clean. Cellie was a great host, and all the staff had a smile despite the weather during our visit. A wedding gift was a really nice surprise, it's the little things that make a difference :) Don't book if you're...

We really liked the animals at the farm with beautiful cat who came and sat with us in the evening. Fun breakfast cafe serving pancakes on donation and tasty veg garden. Compost toilets were ok but we only got 1 warmish shower between us and when you are swimming in the sea it would be good to know that beforehand....

A really nice campsite with helpful staff and the added bonus of being allowed to have open fires! The only tiny negative was that there was no hot water in the solar powered showers during our 4 day stay, despite the sun being out.

Lovely campsite, beautiful views and peaceful. Great not to be put in set pitches, lots of space . Only downside is small numbers of toilets and lack of hot water for showers , just not enough in August!

We chose this for our summer holiday spending 4 nights camping. So glad we chose it, the volunteers who work at the campsite were really friendly and the pancakes in the morning are such a great idea! The campsite is lovely and peaceful and so nice to walk around and see the animals and check out the veg garden. We...

I visited this campsite earlier this year while my girlfriend and I were travelling around south of England. We stumbled upon yhis gem near Bude. The campsite is very laid back and rustic, so maybe down go if you are an anal caravan camper. The volunteers there so look after the vegetable gardens and collection of rescued animals were friendly....

Lovely campsite with friendly hosts and volunteers. There is a back to nature, eco friendly vibe (which is exactly why we booked!) all carried out with lovely finishing touches like a pancake caravan, animal feeding, campfires, handmade signs and a communal pizza oven. We booked last minute for a break before school starts as our daughter is really struggling with...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Enjoy the Wilder Side of Camping Serene, green, eco camping set in seven acres of sprawling fields just a short stroll from the seaside. Cerenety is peaceful, old fashioned, back to nature camping, where you can spend lazy days in the grass or playing cricket with the kids. Spend the morning surfing, delight in a relaxing afternoon picnic and while away long summer evenings watching camp fire smoke spiralling idly into the Cornish sky. Do all this whilst happy in the knowledge that your holiday is having a limited effect on the environment. Solar powered showers, compost toilets and wood burning fires allow you to indulge in an off-grid holiday in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Make friends with our rescue animals, meander down the canal into town or take a 5 minute wander down our country lanes to our local secret beach. ... more   less
