We had a lovely room with a view of the beach . Was very quiet hotel , clean & tidy with good bathroom . Would of liked a hairdryer in the room & was disappointed that the restaurant wasn't open or the bar ! Good breakfast with lots of choice , staff in the morning were friendly . The location...

A very nice comfortable hotel near to the beach and the clifftop views. We stayed at the hotel out of season, so the restaurant and bar were unavailable. The room was comfortable and clean. We changed rooms to have a room overlooking the beach and seafront. There was an extra cost to move to the beach view room - but...

A compact but well fitted room. Excellent decor and cleanliness. The whole hotel operated to a very high standard from the warm welcome to the excellent breakfast. The location was perfect as we were attending a family wedding next door!

Had three nights here and considering it had a makeover from a recent TV programme it's has improved but is still lacking in many basic areas. No fridge in the room or water, no flannels, soap or small toiletries just one bottle of general wash. When I had my own soap out , a hotel soap appeared the next day....

We stayed at the Grosvenor (just down the road) and the owners recommended we ate at the Atlantic for a special meal. I'm glad that we did, the food was lovely. We did see this place on the hotel inspector so we're intrigued to see it in the flesh. We were pleased to see how busy it was, and had...

At last a bar for the more discerning customer. Good ambience and quality bar fixtures which is a cut above most of the other dross in Bude. Polite staff and non residents welcome. Good fixtures and fittings throughout.

Good. The waitress/receptionist was friendly. The barman pleasant enough. There was an excellent range of local beers and Cornish gins. The bed was comfortable. That's it. Cons. My room was small and the overwhelming smell of mould from the en-suite was dreadful. I had to isolate the extractor fan after 2300 as it was so noisy. The menu looked good...

Lovely four night stay in August visiting friends in Bude. Hotel room was spotless and comfortable and the price was very reasonable for peak season. Very good choice of breakfast items, well cooked and presented with attentive staff and good service. I would have liked a room at the front but we did book late in the season so we...

We stayed for 5 nights in a premier room at the front of the hotel.Huge bay window overlooking the beach to the right, Bude town to the left, and the canal in front of you. Always something going on outside, so plenty to keep you occupied when sitting in the room. Room was clean and very comfortable with lots of...

We had five nights here and it's a tricky one to review because the room was nice and clean comfy bed complimentary tea/coffee hairdryer etc ( room at back so view over "Sainsburys car park"!) the view did not worry us because we were only using it for a base, from the front it overlooks Summerleaze beach. The breakfast was very...
