Just returned from a one night stay here to mark my partners birthday. Had small double room 11 on the top floor. fantastic views through the dormer window. Small, but spotless and modern shower room with toilet. Crisp whiter than white linen and comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Couldn't fault this hotel, would definitely stay again. Struck extremely lucky with the...

Location is stunning but "luxury" room had no sound proofing so every visit to a bathroom meant you heard the loud extractor fans and toilet usage of other rooms which led to a disturbed night. Restaurant is lovely but use of hotel by outside guests and lack of any guest lounge meant unless you were eating and had booked, there...

I was staying whilst on business in the area, I have been staying away with work for the last 30 years and have become a bit fussy due to being a very light sleeper. I found the staff here were extremely friendly and tolerant when I asked to change rooms and then decided to go back to the original one...

Five day minibreak. Quite difficult to classify this hotel. Small bar has local ales, restaurant has plastic chairs which are surprisingly comfortable, with simple white square tables which are, unusually, actually big enough to put dishes etc on. Friendly professional staff who made us feel very welcome. There isn't really a lounge just a couple of settees adjacent to the...

Nice hotel that catered for what people wanted. Friendly staff. Stayed here to hit the surf at Bude and Widemouth Bay, as I didn't have a car it was quite a long but very scenic walk in both directions. Food delicious at breakfast and dinner. Only negatives, I booked the hotel for the gym, sauna and wetsuit drying room but...

Stayed for one night myself, my better half and our dog. The room was fairly basic with a massive bed which although comfortable for sleep, it rather dominated the room making moving around awkward especially with a dog underfoot! The room was clean, the shower/toilet room was tiny with no room to turn around and we could not get any...

Stayed two nights whilst visiting local relatives. Such friendly staff, delicious food and a comfy and warm room during a very cold spell. Even our little dog was well-accommodated, although dogs are not allowed in public spaces, so make sure yours doesn't mind being left in your room. Spectacular sunsets from the coastal footpath just across the road, and of...

I stayed for 1 night only, on arrival I was greeted by extremely friendly staff and directed to my room that was very warm and comfortable. I had a super king sized bed and still the room was spacious. The group of diners I was with received prompt attentive service, I think everyone was really pleased with their meal and...

I’m so pleased that Ross enjoyed his stay in room 8 over the New Year – that’s the room I reserved and paid a deposit for over this period back in August! I do agree; a very spacious room with sea views and a bath from what the website displays. However, I never had the pleasure of stepping foot into...

Dear Sir First of all as I said at the time, we are extremely sorry about the mix up, you will see from previous reviews that this is a very rare occurrence for us, and certainly not something we make a habit of. The room you where changed into was in the same category of rooms you booked, and has...

We stayed here over new year in room 8 which is a lovely large room with fantastic sea views. The food is first class and staff can't do enough for you. Bude town centre not to faraway which has a nice selection of shops and cafes. Can't wait to return.

Elements is high on the cliffs, set in 3 acres overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. We have 11 rooms, a fitness suite including sauna. The cafe bar is now open all day and the Italian restaurant is open every lunch and evening, 7 days per week. We are open to non residents and advise booking as the restaurant is always very busy.
