Decided to have food here with the family including a toddler, great service and amazing food. They even brought out sliced vegetables for out little one to eat. Would definitely recommend this place.

Popped in for impromptu midweek lunch on a damp dismal day. However, served quickly at the bar and food order taken in timely manner. Seated by the real fire, enjoyed ambience and a sufficient plate of a tender beef baguette and fries. If passing, I'd definitely call in again!

I want to rate it higher than 5*. stayed 1 night, amazing 3 course meal at night. They take your order in the bar area whilst you have a drink & when it's ready they take you to your table, into the lovely restaurant. I struggle to eat 3 courses but couldn't get enough, breakfast was also lovely. The staff...

Stayed here previously on a business trip and was impressed with the standard of the rooms. Decided would visit for leisure. Arrived and checked in at the bar by a friendly member of staff and shown to our room. The room was tastefully modern, we'll decorated and clean. Bathroom was the same with a great shower. All the facilities you...

The staff were friendly & polite. We had a premier room which was spacious, clean & good facilities. The only negative with the room was the bed was a bit firmer than we like but was still acceptable (this is just personal preference). The food was exceptional both breakfast & evening meal, so much so we ate there the 2nd...

Called in for Sunday lunch, for the second time this year. What seems to be the norm is great food, at a fair price, with helpful and pleasant staff. Varied menu available as well as the traditional Sunday roasts

We recently stayed at the Royal Oak for a short midweek break. The room was outstanding and the staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and would go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. The owners have thought of everything possible for the room even down to hair straighteners which worked a treat on my beard.

Our 2 night stay at the end of January was a great decision. The weather was kind and the welcome was warm. The hotel is canine friendly and there is a garden which can be used to exercise the dog. The food served in the tap room instead of the restaurant (understandably because of the dog) was very good and...

We Called in with Our family for lunch en route to Centre Parks the food was perfectly cooked, and at a reasonable price, the restaurant was spotlessly clean, waiting staff couldn't do enough for us. Well worth a visit. We are looking to come and stay over night
