PLUS: hosts (!!!), family-friendlyness, location, breakfast with entirely regional products MINUS: WIFI generally available, unfortunately did not work during our stay (rooter prob) => good price for value, higher standard can't be expected of a B&B in a city

We stayed at this guest house for 2 nights and I can't say it was the nicest place I've ever stayed at. The couple who ran the place seemed nice enough, however the rooms were dated and they're idea of ensuites were very different to mine and my friends. Our room included a single shower cubicle next to the bed...

Friendly owners but not good enough reason to stay in this very dated place. Rooms need urgent TLC. Ensuit doesn't mean a shower inside the room- close to bed and a toilet in the closet. Very dated and way over-priced for what it is!

Just returned from a 4 night stay at this B&B. My wife and I have stayed at a few of the B&B's in this terrace, and found The Spindrift to be the best for the following reasons; 1. No deathly silences in the breakfast room with Wayne instigating some lively and amusing conversations. 2. An attention to detail in regard...

Stayed at the Spindrift guest house on 12/04/11 for one night, we had a room for 5 overlooking the picturesque sea front. Our host, Wayne was a really friendly chap who couldn't do enough for us, went out of his way to get fellow guest house owners to move their vehicles so we could park our group van in the...

I needed a single room for an evening and chose to stay at the Spindrift as there weren't many other places left in Weymouth. I was given the single room at the front of the house, which was small but perfect for my needs as it overlooks the beach, has its on wc and washbasin and a private bathroom. The...

My wife and I recently visited Weymouth and stayed in Spindrift guest house. We have visited Weymouth on several occasions now and enjoy being close to the seaside and the relaxed atmosphere the place has. We had stayed in other hotels previously and stumbled across this guest house by chance through google. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, they...

Booked very late for the weekend and struggled to find somewhere with a seaview. Luckily we found this lovely guest house. Wayne and Jane were great hosts, lovely breakfast and really tasty home made bread and jams. We stayed in the "loft room" a long way up but once there, comfortable clean and with a nice view of the beach....

We have travelled to many places around the world and also stayed in lots of hotels and B&B's but we have never come across such excellent customer service. We stayed at Spindrift for three nights and we felt like Jane and Wayne were family making us feel welcome from the moment we stepped through the door until we left. We...

Weymouth is very popular at this time of year so having spent may unsuccessful hours requesting a vacancy from just about every B&B and hotel, we were relieved to find the Spindrift had the availability we required. We booked a family en-suite room for 2 nights over the phone and had to pay £95 for one night in advance. Very...
