We stayed here for 2 nights. You need to park your car outside on the double yellows and go in to check in, unload luggage and get the parking permit which allows you to park in a choice of two car parks which I think the 'Swannery car park' is the closer one about a 5-10 minute walk away which is easy to get to. We had a good room, the ceiling was high and the room was a decent size. There was a double bed, bunk bed, shower and toilet room in the corner, the sink was in the room. There was a wardrobe and chest of drawers. The TV was relatively small for the size of room and channels available was lacking (could maybe do with being re-tuned to get all of the freeview channels). The beds were comfy and bedding was ok. When you check in you decide what you want for breakfast and have to give notice if you want to change it (night before at latest and if you forget the options you have to ask what options are available as it didn't seem to have a printed breakfast menu). You also have to choose a time to have your breakfast which you might not be able to get a time that you want depending on how busy the place is and on the other guests. I had the full English which was nice, this consisted of one sausage, one bacon, beans, egg, tomato and the first morning was mushrooms and the second morning it was a hash brown (this changes each day). You can have a breakfast starter which you can choose to have cereal, yogurt, chocolate pastry and for kids a yogurt which is a choice of 3 flavours. I had the chocolate pastry which was ok (it was from supermarket 'pan au chocolate' multi-pack which are individually plastic wrapped ones) Overall the owners and staff were friendly, the room was good, beds were comfy. The location is good with being opposite the beach and just a short walk from the centre and restaurant and shops. Train station is just a couple of minutes walk away.

Another great stay at the Langham, nice clean rooms and a great breakfast. The location is perfect just across the road from the sea and nice and flat if you struggle walking. Jeff and Jacquie are wonderful hosts and will help you when ever you need it. Looking forward to going back next year.

Last week my Mum and I stayed at The Langham, Weymouth for 5 days. This warm friendly family run guest house is comfortable, spotlessly clean, and serves a terrific breakfast with lots of choice! A great base from which we explored the beautiful county of Dorset including the stunning Jurassic coastline. Thank you Jacqui and Geoff for your wonderful hospitality and great laughs. Marg & Karen

Lovely hotel, can highly recommend. We have been going for 10 years and been about 18 times! Superb location, wonderful hospitality by Geoff and Jacqui who always make us feel so welcome. Rooms always clean and comfortable and great sea views. Breakfasts always very tastey and plentiful. The evening bar snacks offer excellent value and are served in the lovely bar area.

We have just got back from The Langham Hotel, Weymouth today, we had a lovely stay, the owners are amazing, nothing is too much trouble. They make you feel very welcome as soon as you walk through the door. Very friendly and helpful too. Everything about your stay is explained very clearly so there isn't anything you won't know about. The Hotel is clean and comfortable and the food is delicious. The breakfast is very good, fills you right up. The last night we were there the weather was so bad due to a weather warning across England that we went down to the hotel bar and asked the owner if we could eat dinner there as it was too wet and windy to go out to eat. The owner very happily said of course and started to take our order, the cost of our dinner was very reasonable and the food was served to us in about half an hour which was amazing considering the owners didn't have any prior warning we were going to order food that evening. The location of the Hotel is fantastic too, just across the road from the beach. Very relaxing to sit and watch the sea whilst eating breakfast.

We were in a comfortable very clean room facing the sea with a superb view and very comfortable bed. We had never met Geof or Jackie -the owners - before but immediately enjoyed their company They could not do more to make the stay so pleasant. There is a small bar that also serves bar snacks that can be eaten in the bar area or, as we did, have them delivered to our room in addition the breakfast was extensive, well cooked, with many options and served by a very nice lady

Warm and friendly holiday with Geof and Jaqie as usual this hotel is superbly located across the road from the beach and a very short walk from restaurants and shops. Added bonus is that they have secure garage parking for a small extra charge. Nice and quiet at night and a superb breakfast in the morning what more can you wish for.

I booked a short stay at the langham as a graduation gift from my parents and it did not disappoint. I stayed for 4 nights with my 3 children as my husband was working. The hosts made us feel so welcome and even helped us carry our bags to our room. Geoff definitely made a impression on my youngest son who spent the entire holiday thinking up reasons to press the call bell to speak to him. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. The room was spotlessly clean and a great size for a family, my teenage daughter was impressed to have her own side room within the room. We had plenty of towels, which were changed every two days, the biscuits were replenished every day much to the joy of my children. They was ample choice for breakfast, even for 3 very fussy children. The breakfast service was efficient and friendly and with a lovely sea view. The hotel is a great location and is central to most things. We had a parking pass for our car which was less than a 10 minute walk away. I would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to visit Weymouth. Thanks again for a lovely stay.
